Selbst für den Preis nie wieder!

Ich hatte ein Raucherzimmer...zumindest das einzige Zimmer ohne Nichtrauchersymbol an der Tür und so roch es auch... Die Matratze war eine einzige Katastrophe - es lage eine dünne Matratze auf dem Doppelbett und man kam sich vor, wie im Treibsand. Habe die dünne Matratze dann mitten in der Nacht runtergezerrt und da war dann ein riesen Fleck auf der Boxspringmatratze...super. Die Nacht hab ich jedenfalls so gut wie gar nicht geschlafen. Nie wieder!

Gut gelegenes Stadthotel

Das Hotel war sehr sauber, nett eingerichtet und auf einem aktuellen Stand der Technik. Es gibt eine Kaffeekapselmaschine im Zimmer. Check in und Check out waren problemlos. Meinem Wunsch nach einem bestimmten Zimmer wurde nachgekommen. Das Personal war freundlich und die Betten ausreichend groß. Das Hotel ist in Karlshorst sehr zentral gelegen mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants um die Ecke. Ebenso gibt es eine Straßenbahn vor der Tür und die S-Bahn ist etwa 4 Minuten entfernt. Einzig negativer Punkt ist die Federkernmatratze und eine unzureichende Schalldämmung zu dem Straßenlärm, da das Zimmer unmittelbar an der Straße lag.

Tricky lock.

I came back to hotel late, after a concert, and let myself in through the gate and the side door. But when I got to door leading into the hallway near Room2, I found the lock to be very difficult to open. It took me 20 minutes to get the door open. I thought that I might have sleep on the staircase! 😲

Leider haben wir keinerlei Informationen über die Stadt bekommen. Wäre schön gewesen einen Hinweis zu bekommen, welche S-Bahn oder welcher Bus am günstigsten in die Stadt gewesen wäre.

Zweckmäßiges, kleines Hotel

Die Unterkunft ist sauber, verkehrsmäßig ganz gut gelegen. In direkter Nachbarschaft gibt es Supermärkte (auch Bio) und eine Bäckerei, so dass das fehlende Frühstück nicht allzuschwer ins Gewicht fällt. Im Zimmer gab es einen kleinen Kühlschrank, allerdings nur einen Stuhl am Tisch, was für eine dreiköpfige Familie etwas wenig ist. Kaffee gab es aus dem PadAutomaten, im Zimmer ist einer vorhanden. Was allerdings für Reisende ein Ausschlusskriterium sein könnte, ist das wirklich winzige Badezimmer. Je nach Körperfülle (oder Größe!) könnte es nicht einfach sein (bis hin zu unmöglich), die Dusche zu nutzen. Man bekommt einen Schlüssel, damit man zu jeder Zeit rein kommt (Rezeption ist nur tagsüber besetzt), es gibt einen eigenen Parkplatz. Als wir da waren, war es ruhig. Alles in allem würde ich das Hotel dennoch nicht wieder buchen, da es für eine kleine Familie dann doch etwas eng war. Als Paar oder Einzelreisender allerdings würde ich es wieder wählen.

Nur zum Schlafen ganz ok

Wir haben das Hotel gebucht für ein Familien Wochenende in Berlin, da es gleich in der Nähe von unserer Verwandschaft war. Für 2 Nächte ausreichend. Zimmer war von der Größe ausreichend für eine 3 köpfige Familie ( Kind 1 Jahr), Badezimmer etwas klein und Zimmer sehr hell, wegen der Straßenlampe im Hof, auch sehr hellhörig.

Das Hotel erfüllt in keiner Weise Standards für ein gutes Hotel. Zimmer spartanisch, nicht einmal fließend Wasser, ein WC/Bad für 5 Zimmer, innen sehr laut, kein Frühstück im Hause, kein Getränkeautomat, Zugang nach 20 h verwinkelt. Immerhin WLAN und ein Farbfernseher, Es ist mir rätselhaft wie die Bewertung "hervorragend" zustande kam. Das sieht mir sehr getürkt aus.

Sauberes kleines Hotel direkt bei S-Karlshorst

Gute Lage in direkter Nähe zur S-Bahn Karlshorst, Geschäfte des täglichen Bedarfs und Restaurants um die Ecke. Neu eingerichtetes, sehr sauberes Zimmer mit Mini-Bar, gutem W-LAN. Dazu sehr nettes Personal - uneingeschränkte Weiterempfehlung!

Practical and friendly, near S-Bahn

We stayed at Die Botschaft for three nights at the end of September. The room was spacious and clean with a seating area facing the back of the house. There is a small car park behind the hotel, with a gate that is locked at night. The lady at reception was super friendly and explained everything about the keys and where to find a good place for breakfast (we liked a small cafe near S-Bahn station Karlshorst, about 2 min walk away). She even helped my daughter with printing out some documents for her university matriculation. The blinds are not black out so it's quite bright in the morning, otherwise it's perfect and the room is being tidied during the day, with fresh towels on request.
