There's not a whole lot I can say that's positive about this place, other than it's cheap and in a good location (8 minutes walking to Beppu station). The building is quite old and hasn't been renovated since it was built. The word that comes to mind is 'dilapidated'. The carpet is dingy, there are stains on the wall, and the walls are paper thin. Even though I opted for a private room, I could still hear everything in the communal bathroom and hallway. I will say the tatami in the room was on the newer side, and the linens were quite clean. Also free rental bikes are provided which is a huge plus. Overall, my standards were not high given the price but even then I was a little surprised by the state of the property. I've stayed in other similarly priced hotels/hostels that were in much better shape. Also of note: this place does not provide you with a bath towel. You have to pay 50 yen per towel. I don't know why but it irks me when places do this. Just add it to the price of the room and give me a free bath towel lol. How are the bike rentals free but the bath towel is not???

In Japan I love older hotels with tatami bedrooms, and this one was perfect. Shoji screen doors slid out on 2 sides to reveal broad windows with views of the mountains. If you like traditional interiors and don't need a trendy, polished atmosphere, I highly recommend this place. Another bonus - it's a few blocks away from the Kitahama bus terminal, great for taking inter-city highway buses

ドミトリーを利用しました。 部屋はお値段相当でした。 2段ベットで、荷物入れ（鍵付き）もありました。 駅から10分〜15分ぐらいだと思うので、 ご飯等は困らないかと。 【不便な点】 ・エレベータは無いので、3Fまで階段です。 ・トイレが2Fにしか無いです。 　男女共有なので、困る女性はいるかも 【その他】 1Fの共有スペースで、射的とかあるんですが、 夜中の0時頃に家族で騒いでやる人達とかいたので 21時頃には撤去しておいた方が良いかと感じました。 ※ ホテルよりも客のマナーが悪いだけの話ですが。

처음엔 기대안하고 예약했습니다. 도착하고 나니 방도 무난하고 , 공용 온천이 있어 좋습니다. 낙후가 조금 되었지만 만족 했습니다. 또한 공용주방이 있어 여행온 다른분들과 함께 먹었는데 , 여러나라분들이 계셔서 재밌었습니다. 게스트하우스 느낌도 나고 좋았습니다.

温泉宿が国際的で面白い宿でした。

女性専用のはずでしたが、家族連れの方たちでしたけど、男性の方の声が聞こえていました。ベットの周りに他の国から来た方たちが自分たちの場所を取っていたので私は全ての荷物を自分のベットの上で開封した後もベットの上にトランクも置いてました。このベットはこの辺りでって決めていてくれたら嬉しいと思いました。全然、気の良い方たちだったので、他の事では気にならなかったです。また、エレベーターがなかったのですが、トランクをカウンターの方が持って来て3階まで持って来てくださいましたので、助かりました。トイレのドアノブが取れかかってきて、焦りました。ロッカーがローカにあったのは使い難く使用しませんでした。お風呂は風情のある温泉で良かったです。温泉の水質も肌がスベスベになって良かったです。

Onsen à beppu

Mieux que ce que j'avais vu sur les photos. Il y a une grande cuisine commune bien entretenue et une salle de jeux et de quoi faire des barbes à papa soi-même. La chambre était déjà prête et nous avons pu faire le check in plus tôt ! J'ai apprécié le onsen car j'y étais seule avec ma fille. Pas besoin de réserver. Personnel très agréable. Chambre avec sanitaires et douche. Proche du onsen Takegawara pour faire un bain de sable. Possibilité de se rendre aux enfers de Kanawa en prenant un bus. Les enfers sont sympa à visiter.

温泉は最高〜！鍵がかかりづらかったり開けづらかったりで時間がかかって大変だった。室内全域でラーメンの匂いが充満していて大変なのと部屋の電気が反応するので眠れない扱い方案内が欲しいもう少し綺麗だと…贅沢か？
