Great place to stay

The views from this home were amazing and the location was great with lots of walking trails and accessibility to Bend activities. Host was quick to respond to all needs. Accommodations were good for our group of 4 couples.

Great house, Great location!!

Everything in this home was as stated. Very well equipped in the kitchen. Very clean and big enough for everyone to be comfortable. The one thing we would have liked as we had an "old" Grandpa with us would have been a recliner in the living room this would have made him more comfortable as he sits and reads alot. We will come back as soon as we can!!!

Cool Riverfront House

Home is a lovely, well used rental space. Had lots of amenities and is perfectly positioned for accessing all that Bend has to offer. Owner is very responsive if you have any problems or questions. We enjoyed our trip!

Simply Outstanding!

Spent Thanksgiving week at this beautiful property and cannot express how thoroughly impressed we all were with the location and amenities provided. The home itself is stunning - a true testament to the vision of the owner, and every detail executed to perfection. From a guest perspective, there's isn't anything that was missed. The kitchen is beyond belief - with a 6 burner gas cooktop and huge kitchen island. Every appliance and kitchen gadget you'd ever hope to have is also provided. From colanders to a Kuerig, and everything in between. I brought quite a few of my own things from home, and it wasn't necessary. Hand mixer, pastry brush, pizza cutter, large mixing bowls, measuring cups (glass and plastic) measuring spoons, an excellent cook's knife set, toaster, blender, plenty of dishtowels and pot holders, serving utensils, flatware, dishes, coffee mugs, wine glasses, champagne flutes, the list is endless. There isn't anything you need, and what's provided is even more than what most homes would have! There are two bedrooms on the upper level, the master is gigantic with a huge bathroom (double sinks) and a separate shower (walk-in, fabulous water pressure!) and Jacuzzi garden tub. The closet is enormous - as big as a bedroom, and there is a full size washer/dryer as well. The second upper level bedroom is quite large, with it's own large bathroom. Soap, shampoo, towels, washcloths, toilet paper and Kleenex are provided in abundance! The main level bedroom is right off the entry-door, and has glass French doors. The doors are covered in curtains for privacy. The main level bathroom is a full bath, with a shower/tub combo and the coolest bathroom sink we've ever seen! The lower level offers two bedrooms and two full baths, along with a movie room, full size pool table and 2 full size arcade games. Every amenity needed is provided. Main level floors are water heated concrete, and the entire home is comfortable and inviting. Huge bonus, even with 5 adults showering, we never ran out of hot water! The view is spectacular, with decks/patios off of each level so you can hear the river. The double car garage was a wonderful treat - we were able to park both cars inside, away from the elements. Oh, there is a 2nd refrigerator and a stack washer/dryer in the garage, also! This home is beyond amazing, and I can't thank Rick enough for making it available to us. We will definitely be back!

Impressive view in a lovely home

Need a house for a large group in a quiet neighborhood not far from downtown? Look no further than this house which had high end touches and an amazing view. I was impressed with the look and functionality of the house as well as how well appointed it was. You could find most anything you needed in the kitchen and the pantry. All bedrooms were lovely and the added touches of a game room and movie theatre were awesome! I loved being able to wake up with my large group of adults where we could choose to hang out together or have our own space. The Master Bedroom is especially impressive from the large room, bathroom, closet and deck. This house is a must rent for a larger group!

Great house with wonderful river views.

What a Gem!!

This well stocked riverfront home is absolutely stunning. Rick was very accommodating during the reservation process and we never encountered any maintenance issues during our stay. The location is perfect! Close to town yet when you're there, it feels like an outdoor retreat! The house has a beautiful open floor plan which was perfect for our large family and out of town guests. The kitchen has everything a person needs and can accommodate a lot of cooks! The big dining table is perfect for game night and anything else! The weather was beautiful for our stay and the outdoor decks were perfect for relaxing. The amenities make this home so much fun to stay at. A little disappointed we didn't have time to enjoy that amazing theater room, but if we ever find ourselves in Bend again, this will be the first place we try to reserve. Clean, Comfortable, Convenient, and Pet Friendly! Love Love Love this home.

Reserve this property in a cooler season

HOT!!! Inside and out. Could only enjoy the south facing deck early am and late evening. Accommodated our large family well. A few mainainace issues, however over all it worked for us. Again, do not go in the middle of summer, while the house was unbearably warm at times, downtown Bend was worse. Did some tubing and visited the caves nearby. All refreshingly cool activities. I would imagine late Fall to be the perfect place for perfect weather!

Great location on the Deschutes

For our family gathering of 7 adults and 2 children, this was the perfect location. Located just north of Bend, it gave the feeling of being in a remote setting, while only a 10-minute drive from downtown. The house is well-equipped, with all the amenities needed to make 3 generations comfortable and entertained. Beds are comfortable and everyone had their own bathroom, with the top floor bedrooms enhanced by their own en-suite baths. This is a great get-away, close as you want to all kinds of activity opportunities. Sitting on the deck overlooking the Deschutes River was usually enough for me...beautiful!

Phenomenal property, well stocked with everything!

We had a fantastic stay! Property is amazing and easily accommodated our 4 families with 6 kids. Games area, ping pong and movie room were a highlight for the kids. Kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need and we cooked meals for 14 with ease. This is situated down a quiet cul de sac so you can enjoy the soothing sounds of the river flowing just in front of the property and even spot deer at dawn and dusk! There is a great outside grilling and dining area too. We really appreciated having bathrooms plentifully stocked with beautiful towels, shampoo, body wash and paper products. It was a fantastic vacation in a very well maintained and stunning property.

Beautiful home!

My 13 girlfriends and myself LOVED this home! The separation of space is great for a large group but still great if all hanging out in same room. The river view is spectacular and walking trails nearby a bonus! Beds were so comfortable and comfy linens. I could go on and on! Thank you Rick for sharing this beautiful home!

Terrific house for 50th birthday celebration!

Five couples really enjoyed our stay. We're outdoorsy and have fun playing games, so we spent each day exploring nearby then returning to the house for a soak, making group dinners, and competing in everything from the vintage donkey Kong to Cranium. Views of the river are lovely, and we're planning to return in different seasons. We recommend hiking or climbing at Smith Rock state park, XC ski or hike to Tumalo Falls, and skiing/boarding at Mt Bachelor. The five bedrooms are comfortable and the kitchen well appointed.

Spacious, great view, conveniently located, well equipped- need more coffee cups and wine glasses.

We used the main balcony for our wedding ceremony because the weather was so nice. It was a great setting. Love the heated floors, theatre room, hot tub, and the game room too! So many amenities! Very nice. Hope to come back. Great place for our family gathering.
