「Wonderfully hospitable.」

「Rooms are all in upper floors 2nd or above, no elevator/lifts made it difficult for elders. The rooms are well maintained. Water pressure/hot water is an issue.」

「Building is in disarray, with things left all over the place. No one was at the front desk. Towels were not changed and our room was not refreshed for our second night. I planned to use my credit card but was told the machine wasn’t working and I had to pay cash, but wasn’t given a receipt. (I was finally emailed a receipt a day later, after I insisted on one.) I never did received the change from my cash payment. It was all quite strange.」

「Wonderful hosts - Graham and Sheena are extremely focused on making everyone’s stay memorable. The beds are extremely comfy too! Beautifully kept carriage house in a central spot to visit many gems in the area. Was a very relaxing enjoyable stay! 」

「We had a lovely short stay at Macbeth’s Hillock. The cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed. We mainly stayed there overnight while travelling, but I also cooked dinner there, which worked very well. The location is peaceful, close to local sights, and right next to a farm with beautiful sheep, which made the stay feel even more charming. A very pleasant place for our short stay.」

「The lodge is beautiful in very peaceful area, it was very clean with everything we needed. We used it mainly for a base as we were traveling so only really slept there. The lodge is situated between 2 other properties and would benefit ( I’m my opinion) with blinds on all lower windows. The bed is very comfortable but a bit on the narrow side. 「What a great place to stay in Nairn. Central to golf course and main shops, Big clean spacious room with a large bed, couch and all essentials. Big bathroom including a bathtub. Nice outlook outside. Superb hosts who cooked a great breakfast. Really enjoyed our time there」

「The best B & B I’ve stayed in. The host Helen is absolutely lovely, and fixes an amazing breakfast. The room was charming, well decorated, and had amenities such as body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and a hair dryer. Tea, water and a couple snacks were also provided in the room. A wonderful place, I hope one day to return.」

「We absolutely loved our stay at the Mansion House. It is within walking distance of all the sites in Elgin plus has very accessible parking. The surrounding walks and neighboring river made me feel like a character in a Jane Austin novel. Iona, Billy and all the staff made us feel like family. We even learned how to play snooker. Breakfast couldn’t have been better or more convenient. Will definitely try to return every time we go to Scotland!!!」

「My single room on second floor was clean, comfortable and quiet....perfect for a good night's sleep. Hotel is well situated, just a 10 minute walk to the train station or a nip around the corner to the Nairn Museum. Breakfast was sufficient...partly self serve, partly hot; but staff was a little scarce so no second cup of coffee was to be found. No gluten free bread, but several GF cereals and plenty of other choices. If I am back that way again, I would rebook but stay for longer.」
