Set up was great. Very private. Bathrooms clean. TV was a bit difficult work. Bedrooms were very comfortable. Guest room with two beds was a bit warm because no air flow. The sliding glass door doesn’t open. The deck is so private and the scenery is awesome. Chairs and tables could’ve been cleaner, webs and bugs. Overall though we love this place and would come back again and again.

Excellent spot for golf

Great accomodations. Rented 2 condos for 8 of us and everything was great and clean. Communication was outstanding. Great location for 3 days of golf at Shanty Creek courses.

Lovely Spot and View

It was a great spot to stay and a gorgeous view of the Fall colors. The outdoor fireplace was nice too. The condo was lovely for our small group of four with plenty of room. Definitely a great place to stay.

Awesome condo in beautiful Shanty Creek

We had a wonderful stay here in August 2024! The condo was modern, spacious and clean with several amenities within walking distance at the Shanty Creek hotel. The views were beautiful and the beds were comfy. We really enjoyed our stay!

Relaxing stay with a beautiful view.

We enjoyed our visit in this spacious, quiet, nicely decorated condo. Our goals were to enjoy the fall colors, watch some football on tv, and dine at some great local restaurants. We would be happy to stay here again!

Family trip

My family of 4 had a great time staying here this summer! The place was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with basics utensils and appliances we needed. The back deck was a great space drink coffee in the morning and relax with a fire at night. The kids loved both the indoor and outdoor pools and play area. The really restaurants in property were great as well.

Snowy weekend

Came up to spend some time with our adult boys. Worked perfect, nice location and with all the snow it was an easy walk to get pizza after a day of skiing. Best sleep in a long time. Would come back again

Beautiful Views

We loved staying in this unit, was located close to the places we wanted to be. The oversized balcony was a bonus that we all enjoyed. The unit was clean and well stocked (we did feel there could have been more towels) We were able to use the elec grill and the fire pit. We had a wonderful stay and would like to book this unit again in the future!

Nice, quiet getaway

We enjoyed our stay at Trappers Lodge. The unit was spacious and the beds were comfy. We enjoyed the views from the living room and master bedroom. The building and resort are a little outdated but nothing that impeded us from enjoying a week away. We took advantage of the indoor and outdoor pools (within walking distance) and the beach club (short drive away). We would stay here again if coming back to the areas.

Great condo at Trappers!

The Condo was clean, updated, owner was responsive. This is an end unit that has a nice outdoor deck space that we didn't use as it was winter but very pretty setting. Walking distance to the village shops & hotel. Lots of space& wall hooks to hang ski gear, it's the details that make it so functional. Would definitely stay again.

Great Weekend Getaway

In Bellaire for a conference at Shanty Creek Lakeview hotel. Perfect location, short walk to the hotel/conference center. The condo was well kept and updated. Very nice deck with great view. Didnt get a chance to use the firepit because it rained most of the weekend but it was nice to have the option to use it. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Would stay here again!

Great getaway

Very nice condo, in private surrounding. Wonderful outdoor balconies, and plenty of room. It was a little bit of a walk due to being in the last unit, but that added to the privacy. Only suggestion would be to add dish towels and dish rags to the unit.

Great Location

Great location and met our needs for a fall color trip. Would be a good place to stay for skiing as well. Refridgerator had strong fish odor. Fotunately we planned to eat out on this trip and did not cook. Odor would have permeated other foods stored in the refridgerator.

WONDERFUL TIME!

My family and I stayed here for 4 nights. We had a wonderful time. The condo was clean and exactly what the pictures show. The amenities were fabulous, outdoor & indoor pool with beach access, and we were able to do a bonfire each night! The views were gorgeous, and the condo was walking distance to food and a fun bar. The Shanty Creek location was perfect for a quick drive over to Lake Bellaire or Torch Lake! Dale was a fabulous owner and answered us right away when we had any questions. We highly recommend!

Shanty Get Away

Two friends and I attended a conference, and played two rounds of golf. The unit is as advertised. Nice furnishing and new appliances. The condo is an end unit, a bit of a hike from the parking lot, but more privacy and a 2 tier deck. Great view. My only suggestion is bring your coffee, Would rent again

Great Stay

We had a great stay! Enjoyed grilling in the outdoor space after eating out most other nights. My mother was vacationing with us and we couldn't adjust the temperature due to it being locked out. We arrived on a Saturday evening to zero parking availability. Multiple people trying to find parking. We ended up semi parking into loading/unloading zone. When we went out Sunday morning, parking lot had emptied out. We use vrbo often and other condo rentals have designated parking for each unit. There was not enough linen for our party of six but made do. All of these are minor and overall we enjoyed our stay.
