Ms Deborah and staff made us feel very welcome.Every morning we had a delicious homemade breakfast.The property was very clean safe.Anytime we had questions with recommendations on things to do we just asked and were very happy with the suggestions given to us. Next visit to Belize we will be definitely stay at The Ambassador’s Terrace

The location is a short walk to the center of the city. Very quiet with a beautiful unobstructed view of the sea directly across the street……have a cup of coffee on the terrace and enjoy the breeze and sea. The breakfast is really nice……. fresh fruit, eggs, mini pancakes and several other baked breads. Really good coffee. Nicely appointed rooms with hot water and super thick,large and soft towels.. Ms.Deborah, the owner is super nice and can provide any information you may need to complete your travel interest. I highly recommend Ambassador Terrace Bed n Breakfast.

This was such a lovely stay! My partner and I stayed here for the carnival weekend and would definitely do it again. The location is perfect, you can easily walk into downtown if you like and that morning sea view is amazing! Breakfast was always very nice and we even got Belizean fried Jacks on Sunday. Rooms were comfy and the host was the kindest lady and very helpful with suggestions. There is parking available on the property so if you are driving it is very convenient.

If you want to stay in the heart of Belize City and meet some amazing people stay here! This is a recently remodeled 150 year old house with incredibly gracious host, comfortable rooms, and a short walk to historical sites, this is your spot. Great host and location in a renovated historic house. Felt safe walking to the nearby restaurant even after dark. The water taxi terminal was nearby as well. Cocktail hour is on Friday and Saturday so don't miss that if you're there. Breakfast was great. Would stay there again.

I had such a wonderful stay and experience at this cozy little place. It was close to the water taxi, small street vendors and great restaurants. Debra and staff went above and beyond. I had a very pleasant stay in Ambassador Terrace. I will never forget about it. Deborah, the owner of the Bed and Breakfast upgraded me to a very nice room with magnificent sea view. I was taken care of like part of the family. Deborah is a very warm and nice lady. Also, she took care of my 65 birthday. I strongly encourage people to stay at Ambassador Terrace. Cheers

This property is right on the waterfront. The staff greeted us and had snacks ready when we arrived. In fact, when they heard we were starving, they brought us gratis tamales and meat pies. And they were out of this world. The owner is conscientious and our room was fine.

My wife and I give The Terrace Ambassador a 10/10! Stay date: 23 April-03 May 2026 First, Deborah the owner and her husband were amazing! My wife and I went to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, and Deborah made it an experience we won’t forget. We recommend staying at this bed and breakfast and would definitely come back again. Deborah skillfully managed coordinating trips for us from snorkeling the reefs, visiting Mayan ruins, cave tubing and zip lining, and for me, was able to schedule a scuba diving trip to the Great Blue Hole! She knew who to call to get us the best deals, keep us safe with trusted tour guides, and recommend the best places to go to visit to have a more authentic experience in Belize. Breakfast was served fresh and promptly each morning and we had the opportunity to sample traditional Belizean breakfasts. Location is an 8 minute walk to the major water taxis and a scuba diving shop. It’s also close to a major super market (Brodie’s) and downtown shopping. The area was safe as well and we had no issues walking around after dark at a reasonable hour. Other key amenities include: -excellent air conditioning -hot running water -washing machine and dryer (for those on an extended stay) -water coolers -friendly staff -good internet and WiFi (I was able to get work done as needed while on holiday) Again, we enjoyed our experience and would recommend The Ambassador Terrace to anyone traveling to Belize.
