"Upon arrival the owner met us and unlocked the front door to reception, not friendly at all, we were told restaurant was available only for breakfast which was too late for us as we were catching a ferry. We were told to always use the back door for access, as front door would be locked, strange for a hotel, but the most annoying thing was the look on her face , she looked at us like we were a piece of dirt from under her shoe, unbelievably rude to say the least. "Very friendly staff, super comfy bed. Love the library of books in the bedroom! It's a very basic hotel room but clean and comfy, all you need as a base to explore. The bar and food court is a fun place that puts on various events throughout the month."

Parking was difficult due to road works but Lola helped us out with excellent alternative directions. Good comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent including a fresh orange juicer.
