Nice comfortable room. The bed is comfortable. However the pillows are too soft for me. Need to request for other kind of pillows. Plus point: coffee machine but the taste of capsule coffee is so-so only. Not original Nespresso coffee. Breakfast buffet has decent range of choices.

If you like hard beds, this is the hotel for you!

The bed was so hard I was tempted to sleep on the sofa. I ended up using the extra pillows as a makeshift “mattress” just to be able to sleep. Otherwise, the room I had was spacious and clean. There were strange noises, almost like loud banging in the pipes in the mornings and evenings, but only for short periods. If you’re sensitive to noise, it might be a good idea to request a room located away from the main pipes. Very friendly staff, who spoke barely any English, but with translation apps, it’s no problem at all. The location is great, with shopping centers nearby, and with a Starbucks right outside, your morning coffee is saved ;)

Wonderful stay

The hotel is in an excellent and convenient location, close to many popular attractions, trendy shopping malls, and traditional Beijing residential areas. The staff are exceptionally helpful and went the extra mile to ensure all our needs were fully met. I would especially like to mention Mr. 宋大明 (Mr. Song Daming). As foreigners, we had difficulty booking tickets to some museums, but Mr. Song patiently helped us plan our visits and made the bookings with us. Thanks to his thoughtful and dedicated assistance, our trip to Beijing was much more enjoyable and fulfilling. Thank you, Mr. Song!

Stayed here for six nights. Although I asked for payable extra bed on first night, I was issued a room without extra bed. As it was past 1am, I requested for upgrade the next morning. Paid for upgrade to enjoy free extra bed, access to lounge, two pax breakfast even though I had three. So far pleasant.

Pan pacific beijing

Except for a few front desk staff, I hardly found any employees who could communicate in English. The staff's appearance was not particularly neat. The room temperature was set to 29°C, making it uncomfortably hot throughout my stay. I tried to turn on the air conditioning, but it didn’t work, so I couldn't adjust the temperature. It was quite different from Pan Pacific in Singapore, so keep this in mind when booking your stay.
