「The house had everything we could ask for and our hosts were very responsive when we highlighted a minor issue and organisation was great. The location is perfect a 10 min walk (uphill) into Begur and shopping/restaurants. Lovely beaches close by. The property is on several levels on a hillside with steps, may not be suited for people who have difficulty with stairs or very young children. We loved our stay.」

「The property is best accessed by car however you’ll need to walk down hill with your luggage to reach the apartment. Once you’re there and settled you’ll have walking access to multiple gorgeous beaches & hikes, which are amazing! We loved it. The apartment is functional, but on the small side. For two couples who travel together often it was fine for a couple nights, best set up for a family. The two bathrooms were appreciated. The host was super welcoming & very easy to reach.」

「The host, Jean-Louis, is excellent and friendly, and provides a wealth of information on the apartment itself as well as local dining options and activities. It appears that he stays here himself in the off-season and it shows: the kitchen and laundry area are well-stocked for those who want to self-cater and all the rooms have an impressive array of AV equipment. 「Découverte de Begur et ses alentours, magnifique surprise. La maison est située un peu en hauteur, ce qui permet une vue juste splendide. La maison est très agréable, avec la piscine et le jacuzzi. Enfin, le propriétaire est adorable et très arrangeant. Un séjour qu'on retiendra (nous reviendrons!) Attention cependant aux enfants en bas âge, beaucoup d'escaliers dedans et dehors (surveillance continue nécessaire !)」

「I believe the view from this hotel is the best in costa brava. But you should not have big expectation for its facility because this is not new hotel and it's equipment are a bit old... Again view is amazing. 」

「Loved staying in an authentic los indianos house in the centre of Begur. The mix of restored furniture with comfortable beds and a Catalan proverb written on the walls made the hotel very unique. It was quiet. Although the bedrooms are small, we had a terrace which gave lots of space to sit outside and enjoy the sun. Breakfast is plentiful. Staff were very helpful and responded immediately through WhatsApp even after hours.」
