"For the 2nd year in a row we had a great holiday at Jaz Maraya. highlights: very child friendly, nice house reef in the bay for snorkelers and divers and friendly employees. We will be back for a 3th time. A friendly suggestion for the hotel: provide a bit more lightning at the playground outside the main restaurant. It's dark early and our kids like to play there during/after diner but a bit more light would be nice."

"Pools ok. Lot of leaves and bits on surface of pool but it is quite windy there so hard to keep on top of all the dust etc blowing in. The drinks at the big pool bar were very nice but we did not try the smaller pool as no beds available usually. "Overall, this is a good, quiet small resort to stay at for the enjoyment of really great snorkeling. I don’t think there’s a better place on this whole coast. The rooms were comfortable and clean (Although I didn’t have to ask for a room change and it was taken care of without a problem). Beds are comfortable, linen is good. Air conditioning and Showers work very well. The room is pleasantly furnished. The resort is a bit rough around the edges, And could use some upkeep but it’s not expensive and the food provided is adequate although it could be improved. The management is very pleasant. The owner is a very engaging person. They arranged for my departure to the airport, no problem at a very reasonable cost. It’s a desolate area and there’s nothing there except the resort. The reef has some nice pockets in it, Not just linear with a fairly shallow sandy bottom, making it more enjoyable. Variety of sea life is good. Sea temperature late April is a bit chilly -a wetsuit or second skin would be advisable. Take mosquito repellent for the evening."

"It'not a huge hotel. Rooms are clean. There isn’t a very large selection of dishes, which is actually a good thing. You can always choose between chicken, beef, or fish, with a couple of options for each. There’s also a selection of cold appetizers and desserts. The food is prepared quite carefully, and everything tastes delicious. Coffee is not disapointing as well. The staff are not intrusive. The hotel is situated close to the airport but there is no noise pollution. There were some entertainments, but I managed not to face them, which, I guess, is also a plus. "

"Really amazing hotel! I would recommend this 100% if you’re looking to stay in a hotel that offers great food, great entertainment and overall a great experience. They had things that stood out to us like gluten free bread!!! It’s not a common thing to have in Egypt so this was great to see. They also catered for lactose intolerance. They had a thing you scan where it has all the info you need instead of the typical paper print hotels usually give out. The food was good and with a lot of varieties and uniqueness. The view of the sea was amazing although the beach isn’t the best but that’s common in many hotels in Egypt. The rooms were clean and modern. The pools were clean too! They had an adult area with tons of fun games by the pool which was very unique The only negative thing was I wish they served actually Pepsi/cola and not the fake one they serve because it tasted bad. I also wish they had more mocktail options in the pool bars to enjoy! "
