「A great location. Super friendly staff not just at check in. A welcoming lounge area, clean rooms and quiet! Lounge has 24 hr beverage station and huge variety of snacks for sale. Also games and pool table. Very convenient to Tamarack and New River Gorge attractions. Breakfast was well stocked and easily accessed even when the hotel was full. Highly recommend. 」

「We had a perfectly fine stay here and the staff were very accommodating - not sure why others have rated this place as unsafe. We needed to check in late after the front desk closed at 8 pm, but called ahead and the staff had no issues keeping it open for us. Rooms were clean and we enjoyed the art on the walls that gave a sense of the region's history. We also highly recommend getting breakfast at the Chocolate Moose just down the street - great coffee, sandwiches, and atmosphere!」
