"Great place close to interstate but quiet and a huge fenced in yard. If you have pets this is a gem. I will agree with another review it is a little tight getting our large pickup in the driveway entrance but it works. We will stay again when we are in the area."

"My wife and I came into town to do some hiking and kayaking at New River Gorge (NRG)! This place was a perfect location near shopping, the movie theater, restaurants, and only about a 30 minute drive to NRG! We really enjoyed our stay here! The place had everything! A home gym, a hot tub, a fire table, kitchen for cooking, washer/dryer, etc! For us, this was a great location and a quiet place for some rest and relaxation!"

"This cabin is great. From check in to check out everything was as stated and cabin was great. I would definitely stay here a again. Only a few miles from main entrance to New River Gorge, and Thurmond. Easy drive to all other parts of the National Park. We even got in a few State Parks and 1 Battlefield. "This stay was for our 10th anniversary. The cabin was fantastic. We loved the hot tub and the privacy. We had an issue where VRBO didn’t send us the the cabin number and correct code. "The cabin is exactly as described. The grounds keeper went out of his way to grab trash we hadn’t taken over yet while we were out. A lot of reviews mentioned the road being bad, but it’s just a typical narrow dirt road. I can see it maybe being a little intimidating if you never drive on unpaved roads, but it is very well maintained, just go slow and be mindful while passing people and you won’t have an issue."
