Pub with rooms, with a comfortable bed and plenty of hot water. Evening staff were warm and welcoming, great evening meal. Breakfast was slightly less relaxed as the waitress was slightly overwhelmed having 4 guests. An extension lead for the kettle in the bedroom would be useful. Also lots of cooking smells in the room and corridors due to the kitchen door being open all the time.

Great place, good food and very generous portions. Could use some better amenities in the room, coffee machine etc . Comfortable bed, great view. Great bar with lots of choice. Epic food and comfortable rooms. Food smells from kitchen hits the rooms which is a bit of a negative. Nether the less positives outweigh the negatives and will stay again

良かった点 : スタッフとサービス
気になった点 : 清潔度、施設のコンディションと設備
From the outside the property had old style appeal and parking which was a positive however when taken to our room this was at the back of the property and you had to pass washing hanging online, a laundry shed and general toot and tat. The entrance to the stairway to the room went past the back of the kitchen where the door was permanently open so you heard all the usual professional kitchen noises.. The stairway to the room smelt of cooking fat and there were dead flowers on the window with dead flies. The room needs a lick of paint as the paint was peeling in several areas. There were areas of ceiling where there were stains. The room also had an odour of damp dog. The springs on the mattress had gone so we had uncomfortable night sleep. The shower tray was blocked so we had to keep stopping the shower to wait for it to empty to prevent it overflowing. On a positive note, it a nice pub and restaurant, but more consideration needs to be taken with the sleeping facilities. I would also add that all the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful.
