The bathroom was covered in mold. The bedroom ceiling was showing water damage in the corners and then on most of the small ceiling tiles. The outlet for the TV and box was a open wired open outlet that they just taped over the connectors and wired off the bathroom light switch. Even with the base board heat on low and the baseboard heat at 60F (outside temp40f) I almost got sick due to overheating in the middle of the night. The beds are the most uncomfortable ones we slept on during a 3+ wk road trip. So overall; out of nearly 20 hotels we stayed in ranging from 50-350$, this hotel room Ranks last.

Good place to stay!
Stayed here twice during our roadtrip Alaska-Yukon and back. Big room, comfortabel beds, clean and good wifi. You get what you paid for, so there are no other facilities. Nice to get: free coffee and 3 cents/liter discount for gas.
We didn't expect much from a motel near the border, but we were surprisingly pleased with a big and clean room with comfortabel beds. Only things we were missing was a fridge and coffee/tea making facilities. If ever you need to cross the border between USA and Canada, stay here. You will get 3 cents/liter discount on fuel also as a guest.

Great staff and nice room. Only downside was lack of electrical outlets and no refrigerator for our milk. Layout of room was great otherwise

Our stay met or expectations, as there is limited accommodation in Beaver Creek. We would stay again.

Great choice
Old, but comfortable. After our horrific experience the night before in Watson Lake, this was a breath of fresh air. Staff was wonderful. Large laundromat. Lodge is old, so expect lots of creeks and noise from others. Room is small, but very clean. We slept like babies. He room also got a little stuffy at night with no AC. We wee able to crack out window and a fan isn't provided. Strongest free wifi we had received in Canada!

Cheap place to crash for the night
The interior is dated, but I don't care about that. There was a spot on the floor and I didn't care about that either. The only thing that I cared about is that I got a decent nights sleep and I got that. It was quiet, there was satellite TV, the beds weren't the most comfortable in the world but they were good enough. The shower had a funky knob system to adjust the amount of hot and cold water mixing together to provide the correct temperature and another knob to turn on the showerhead.
The hotel is an retired tour company stop and the folks running it are attempting keep it alive. From the look of the gas station/front desk they will not succeed.
Convenient, friendly and great stop for travelers to/from AK!

Basic stopover on way to Kluane
Fine for an overnight stopover. Room was smallest one we've been in on our trip (2 adults 2 kids on two double beds) - more than 1 night would be difficult, but since we were just looking for a place to sleep it was doable. Hot day and no A/C made it a little uncomfortable at night. Went to Buckshot Bettys for meals which was close and food was good. Nice Information Center just across the road with great information and an entertaining person there with personal stories that should be in a book! Pool was unavailable for maintenance.

Start of the tourist season
When driving the Alaskan Highway, the amenities can be iffy. I had stayed here 6 years ago in August during prime travel season, and the place was busy with individual tourists and tour buses that brought cruise travelers in for a dinner theater. This time I traveled mid-May, before the tourist season kicked off, and didn't really know what to expect. Check in was at the RV park next door (same owners, many more guests - must be the time of year), and when we got to the hotel, the only person on site was a maintenance guy. Only part of the building was open and there were only 6 rooms booked in that area. The rooms are small, beds and linens old and dusty from a long winter of not being used, and the bathrooms are very tiny but functional. It reminds me of an aged dowager - getting old but trying to keep up appearances. Remember, however, that this was pre-season, and the help was just arriving and unpacking that week, so they really weren't up to speed. Summer stays might be different.
We drove from Texas to Alaska and had a hard time finding places to stay in this leg of our trip. Towns were few and far between. The folks at the Beaver Creek Motel were very friendly and it had kind of a feeling of staying with family.
When I got my credit card statement, I had thought they made a mistake and overcharged me. I called the hotel and they lady was very nice about it. She looked it up and explained the charges. It turns out I had forgotten that I had also gotten gas and that was why the credit card amount was more than my Expedia reservation. My dumb mistake. She was very nice about it.

Only stayed overnight. For a place to stay overnight just to sleep this was great.
Absolutely the worst!! If you have a choice between staying here and sleeping in your car then stay in your car. The bathroom in your car will probably be cleaner. There was so much noise that we finally gave up and left. The check in was frightening. There was so much trash behind the counter that the floor was not visible.

The room was nice but no coffee maker in the room. Had to go a ways to the gas station and gift store for free coffee in the morning. Also got 3 cents off gas for staying there.
Older hotel, no AC, but comfortable and adequate. Fan supplied so we were just fine all evening. Within walking distance to Buckshot Betty's for drinks and dinner (great food). We were on motorcycle from South Dakota to Alaska - friendly folks and very accommodating.
The owner was really nice and helpful. The hotel was pretty run down but it was sufficient for one night. Pet friendly, which is why we stayed there on our drive across the Alcan.
It is a cheap place to stay when you just need a place to crash, don't expect any frills and the walls are thin.

We stayed twice, it was clean.
We stayed here twice, going to and coming from Fairbanks from Juneau. The room was really old, but clean. The beds were small, only doubles, mine and my husbands feet hung off the ends. The room was also very, very, hot. There was a fan on the shelf in the room, but both times we stayed, we arrived very late and fell straight into bed. We arrived one night at 1:30am Yukon time. They came to the office from their house to give us keys to the room. We were VERY grateful. There aren't many choices in Beaver Creek, but this is a good room for a night.
Mattress was acceptable. The room had a bee problem. Not sure where they were coming from, but I am very allergic to them. Took care of the problem, but reported it to staff.
