"Well, upon arriving at the hotel, I did not see any staff members except for construction workers on site. I would not have stayed there if I had known a few things beforehand. I checked in through a live person on camera, and later found out that the staff handling check-ins and check-outs were physically located in India. I just hope Super 8 has a strong protocol in place to protect guests’ personal information, since I was required to scan my ID and credit card during the check-in process."

"Gorgeous home on a beautiful property in a great location for beaches, Trinidad restaurants, and redwoods. This rental was our homebase for Redwood National and State Parks. The drive to Crescent City, Jedediah Smith SP was a little long but doable. Weather was cool, so the house temp was chilly, although the main heater was supplemented with bedroom heaters and heating blankets were provided. The main bedroom was large, with a great view. The bed and toilet were both tall, and the tile floor was heated. Sleep the first night was difficult as the house creaked due to it's wooden nature. There was a step transition from ground level to the living room, which was clearly marked. Furniture was comfortable and spacey. The front bedroom was cozy with a soft bed. The deck was large, furnished, and the hot tub was hot, without jets. The neighborhood was safe, eclectic, at times majestic between the large trees and abundance of flowers. The neighborhood roads were windy and bumpy while Hwy 101 was smooth. Management responded quickly to our questions and concerns. Would recommend them for your stay in the coastal redwoods."

"I have almost nothing but wonderful things to say about my week long stay. I thought upon check in there should be some incentive given to gamble. 10 Match play, free slot plays, SOMETHING. Instead I was given a $10 slot play as I was checking out.... Counterintuitive if you ask me. But overall? 4.8 out of 5. I do wish there was 24 food available, or it would have been a 5. The hours the restaurants ARE open, they serve amazing food and really good prices. My room was perfect. "

"This is a beautiful and cozy place to stay, especially once you get the wood stove going—it really makes the space feel warm and inviting.A few small suggestions that could make the experience even better: it would be helpful to have a bit more fire starter provided based on the length of stay (we only had one for four nights). It would also be a nice touch to include some basic cooking staples like salt, pepper, and maybe powdered creamer and sugar for coffee.One thing to be aware of is that sound does travel quite easily in the dome, so we could hear some noise from neighboring guests at times, including conversations and dogs during the night.Overall though, the property itself is beautiful and has a really peaceful, cozy feel. It’s a great place to unplug and relax while still being close enough to everything we wanted to explore, making the drives very manageable."

"Worst hotel experience in a long time. Avoid. This place is essentially a dog hotel — every room smells like it, furniture is damaged, and there’s zero separation for guests without pets. The front desk computer was down at 10PM, turning check-in into a disaster. The young employee was completely rude — no patience, no empathy for a family traveling with a toddler along the Oregon Coast. She refused our $100 cash deposit for 30 minutes, finally accepted it, then never gave a receipt. When I asked, no apology — just attitude like I was the problem. I paid $120 for this room and was treated like I didn’t matter. A hotel that depends on travelers for its business has no right treating guests like garbage. Now I’m thinking I need to spend $300 just to get basic respect and a smile at check-in. That says everything about this place. Book anywhere else."
