"This is a beautiful place in a beautiful setting. The neighbors' views are blocked by trees. The view of the lake through the huge picture windows is amazing. We especially appreciated having a washer & dryer -- no trips to a laundromat! We swam & canoed and every question for the owner was answered promptly."

"Incredible! Had a wonderful stay visiting family in the area. This home exceeded our expectations in every way. Very spacious, amazingly clean and non-cluttered. Our visit coincided with a heat wave (90) and when we arrived was such a pleasure to walk in greeted by cool air from 2 mini-split AC units. Not typically needed in the northern woods of Maine, but quite welcome during this visit. Host is very responsive and accommodating. Looking forward to booking again in the future!"
"This house is very well done!!! The owners have thought of everything. Even though it is located in fairly remote area it has all the comforts of home. The view from the main living space and deck are gorgeous and on a clear day, you can see Mt. Katahdin. It is about an 8 minute ride off Baxter State Park Road, on a packed dirt road, but you quickly get used to that, and it is a chance to see wildlife!! Highly recommend!!!"
"Awesome place, tons of space! Check-in/out was super easy, and the beds were comfy. Highly recommend it, especially if you're into sledding – the trail's right across the street! Bear mountain BBQ is right next door which was super convenient and the food was phenomenal!"

"As advertised. Clean, spacious, modern. This is a remote area and a fantastic way to leave everything behind. There's no cell service here (by my carrier, at least), so it was actually nice to not be bothered by incoming texts. The on-site wifi is very strong, so you can stay connected if you wish. There was some good fishing on the river - right in the backyard. At night while lying in bed the gentle breeze creates a white-noise effect on the roof, lulling you to sleep. We'd definitely stay here again."
