Great location
Fantastic location. The building it is in, is very old and needs major updating. The apartment itself is very small but perfect for a family of 3.
Housekeeping is nonexistent- you need to clean for yourself. You get one set of towels and we had to use the same towels for 10 days. Fortunately, we found a laundromat within a one minutes walk and did laundry there because the washing machine inside the apartment only is large enough for a few items (think underwear, socks and a T-shirt.).
Trash collection is a nightmare. Tip - don’t collect trash and don’t cook if you don’t want to come up with creative ways to dispose of your trash like we had to.
If you go in the summer - there is no AC and no matter what anyone tells you - it’s on the third floor - second to them but really it’s the third set of stairs. Heat rises. It got very hot and the master bedroom windows do not open. My husband had to go out and buy a small fan - because they did not provide one. If there is a small fan in the unit now it’s most likely the one we left behind.
We did ask if there was a fan - we got no response.
I’m sure if we went in the winter our experience might have been better in terms of how hot it was.
If you are looking for proximity to the circus and the crescent - this place is definitely it.
Also - there are no toiletries and there are no waters in the fridge on arrival. I did find the lack of water odd as most places do have at least a few bottles of water.
