"The house is very isolated. Not feasible to walk back and forth to Sabang, where the closet market is located. The house had not been cleaned in weeks, which meant the beds were very dusty. Recommend bringing your own linens. There was no drinking water or wifi, and breakfast was not included as advertised. Power goes out often (not Bahay Isla's fault), so good luck sleeping when the weather is hot. "

"From our room you could see the vast ocean. Take note this place is a diving area. If you are looking for fine sand and swimmable beach you can always hire a motor boat to take you to the other side of the island. Love how they take good care of their clients. They accommodate early checked in and late checked out depends on the room availability without additional charge. Glad you found this place."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made a lasting impression—they were incredibly attentive, warm, and approachable, always ready to help with a genuine smile. Their level of service truly elevated the entire experience. The facilities were spotless and very well-maintained, which made the stay even more comfortable and relaxing. It’s clear that cleanliness and guest satisfaction are top priorities here. The food was also a highlight—every meal was sumptuous, flavorful, and beautifully presented, adding even more enjoyment to our stay. Overall, I would give this place a solid 100/10. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming atmosphere, excellent service, delicious food, and pristine accommodations. I would definitely stay here again!"

"The place is great, especially because it’s so close to SM City Lipa and the terminals, just a 3 to 5 minute walk. Super convenient. I booked a basic double room and it was okay for the price. It can get a bit bright at night because of the curtains and outside lights, and you might hear some noise from outside or nearby rooms. I’d probably try the deluxe room next time. Breakfast was really good. I just wish it already came as a full meal instead of adding rice separately. Room delivery is 20 pesos, which is pretty reasonable if you prefer eating in your room since the lobby dining area isn’t the best. There’s also a 50 peso fee if you want to use the microwave for outside food. The staff are very nice and helpful, which made the stay even better."

" Checked in is smooth and staff are friendly and accommodating. The room is clean. The whole ambience is conducive for rest and relaxation. An overnight stay is not enough. For me its a little bit pricey for a location. It seems the whole location was leveled up and can be compared to Boracay or Palawan. Over all I would like to go back again for solitude. "
