Vijećnica is located in the city of Sarajevo. It was designed in 1891 by the Czech architect Karel Pařík, but criticisms by the minister, Baron Benjamin Kallay, caused him to stop working on the project. It was initially the largest and most representative building of the Austro-Hungarian period in Sarajevo and served as the city hall. The building was reopened on the May 9, 2014.

Their dedication to high standards of hospitality truly enhanced my experience. The breakfast buffet was another highlight of my stay. It offered a wide variety of delicious and highly nutritious options, including fresh fruits, hot dishes, assorted drinks, and delightful desserts. The quality and selection exceeded my expectations and provided a perfect start to each day. Overall, Hotel Europe is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Sarajevo. "A lovely 9 room boutique hotel just across the Latin Bridge. Nice and clean with a lovely breakfast buffet situated in their basement. There is no lift but the hotel is fantastic in every other respect in terms of cleanliness , facilities and location. They will help book transport to and from the hotel ( 30 euros) . The location is perfect - a few minutes walk over the Latin Bridge and you are in the Old Town with dozens of things to see and visit, as well as many many dining options . From the hotel - its 10 minutes walk to the cable cars. Thank you to Ornament Hotel for making our stay a wonderful one and inshallah we will visit soon."

"The hotel was very comfortable with good air conditioning, comfortable rooms and a good breakfast. The best feature however was the location which was ten seconds walk from the main street and an easy walk to most of the sites. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who wants to stay in Sarejevo. There is free parking but the soaces are a bit tight."
