We were at the end of our Panama/Costa Rica trip and had actually just decided to cut it short because I was starting to feel sick. But we had this last hike to try out and I was just hoping both that I would feel well enough and also that our car would be able to make it back on the very steep gravel road back from the parking spot (after almost getting stuck around Monteverde earlier on the trip). As we’ve been getting used to we were first to arrive so we had this awesome place completely to ourselves for a little while in the morning before other tourists started to drop in. It really felt like a fairytale. (Oh, and the car made it back okay!) #nature #costarica #centralamerica #waterfalls

"Clean modern room, best shower in Costa Rica at this pricepoint. Fast wifi with excellent coverage. No AC, but room is designed for that with large screens just below the ceiling and a big overhead fan. We stayed for two nights when day time temps were in the upper 80s on the beach, and we were very comfortable at altitude with the breezes from the ocean. The host, Lori, is a gem. "I liked this property, the staff is friendly, except the ladie that works making eggs in the breakfast, she wasn't was friendly anytime, didn't smile and she looks like sad, the rest of the staff so friendly and polite. The second day we have an issue in the room with the water heating, apararently wasn't working properly, but they gave us an room upgrade, we didn't have any issue with the new room, the breakfast is great, the property is well maintained, they are doing some upgrade to some part of the hotel, resuming my stay was great, definitely come back to this hotel in the future. Thank you for your excellent attention and make great our vacations Me gustó esta propiedad. El personal es amable, excepto la señora que prepara los huevos para el desayuno, quien no fue amable en ningún momento, no sonrió y parecía triste. El resto del personal fue muy amable y educado. El segundo día tuvimos un problema con el calentador de agua en la habitación; aparentemente no funcionaba bien, pero nos dieron una habitación de categoría superior. No tuvimos ningún problema con la nueva habitación. El desayuno es excelente, la propiedad está bien mantenida y están realizando mejoras en algunas partes del hotel. Mi estancia fue excelente; definitivamente volveré a este hotel en el futuro. Gracias por su excelente atención y por hacer de nuestras vacaciones unas vacaciones inolvidables."

"Las villas son hermosas, las vistas impresionantes! Nos encantó. Lo único que quisiera resaltar es que si os quedáis en villa oropendola, tener mucho cuidado si tenéis niños chicos. Para llegar a las villas también es un poco complicado. Es necesario tener vehículo todo terreno. Aparte de eso, todo estuvo genial. Muchas gracias! "
