"A lovely family run hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was adequate for an overnight stay. There was a beautiful small beach across the road. Low score is because the room could do with refurbishing, was cramped and most importantly, the bed was very uncomfortable as the mattress sagged in the middle. My wife woke up with a sore back. "This is a great option if you are in town for hiking, especially if you don't speak Spanish. The guy who works the front desk is super personable and will help with hiking routes, restaurants, whatever you need, and he is also a wonderful host - very friendly, very charismatic. "Beautiful setting in a limestone gorge with a river flowing through it. Better than a white noise machine! There are hiking and mountaineering trails in the immediate vicinity. As a vegan, I appreciated that they included both a vegan and vegetarian option on the dinner menu. The thermal pools and the baths (balneario) were lovely. Don’t forget your bathing cap! "
