Rooms are a bit dated but clean, staff are friendly and amenities are up to par. It’s a place we return to often for our sports team events. Affordable for a group like this and the kids always have fun in the hot tub and pool.

As soon as we walked through the doors we were hit by the smell of marihuana and even worse throughout the hallway to our room. I confirmed with the guy at the front desk that it was a smoke-free hotel and all he said is that he didn’t know what that was and did confirm that it was smoke-free. We had one bath towel and one to step out of the shower. Went to the front desk to get more but he didn’t have any face cloths. There is rust around the bathtub, a baseboard missing in the washroom, the plaster is peeling off the ceiling. The screws that hold the latch on the doors were all loose. All I can say that was good is that the beds were comfortable but I was also very tired after a long day of travelling. Will not be booking there again and will definitely not suggest this hotel to anyone.

The room was clean bed was comfortable! Booked the room with outside access nice to be able to just walk out of your room. I would recommend a mat in front of the door to Leave shoes as we did get a lot of Sand in the room unfortunately. The hotel staff were great very helpful and friendly. It was a welcoming environment from The hotel staff! The hot tub was nice and relaxing after a long day! This was our second time staying at the days inn. And we will definitely be back again we have our next trip and will be returning.

The washroom door knob was broken. The toilet flush is broken. When I spoke to the receptionist, she didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience, all she said was she will make a note of it

Dirty. Smart TV didn’t work. Staff said it would be fixed within an hour . Never heard back. Ignored our 2nd request. Hallway full of kids playing hockey until past 11pm. Front desk did nothing to calm down the noise. The breakfast was ok and morning staff was great but this hotel has really gone down hill since the last time I stayed there 3 years ago.

I rarely write negative reviews, but unfortunately this stay at the Days Inn in Barrie was very disappointing. The room condition was far below what I would expect from even a basic hotel. The door jamb was broken and the paint around the trim looked inconsistent and poorly done. The back of the bathroom door was very dirty and the paint appeared uneven. When I arrived the room was freezing. I turned on the heat but it did not improve for over an hour, only to discover the window had been left open about a foot with no screen. Even after closing it, the room took roughly three hours to warm up. Cleanliness was a major concern. Under the bed had clearly not been vacuumed, especially along the wall near the headboard. The duvet cover had visible mold, there were hairs in the sink, and mold in the bathtub. The windowsill and track were extremely dirty, and both the inside and outside of the windows were covered in grime. There were also safety concerns. The extra security lock on the door was broken and could easily be pushed open, which is unacceptable. Overall this was a very poor experience due to the condition of the room, lack of cleanliness, and basic maintenance issues. I hope the hotel addresses these concerns.

Property is dated and well worn. The beds were comfortable. We were there for an evening as we passed through town. Didn't do the breakfast, but from what I saw when we were checking out at 9AM....it was chaotic. The breakfast area is extremely small, it was not handling the amount of guest traffic eating. Very congested. Overall, clean room, reasonable price. Staff were polite.

Definitely not what the pictures depicted! Our room was smelly and needed big repairs. Bathroom ceiling was peeling, caulking around bathtub was cracked and nonexistent In Areas, the bathtub should have been replaced years ago. The lobby smelled of cannabis.

The window in my room didnt shut all the way. The bathtub did not drain and there were gross mildew stains all around the bathtub. The breakfast was the same everyday and the second day my daughter almost ate a moldy bagel. I would definitely not stay there again!.

Staff was great, room smelled like cigarettes, tub faucet leaked, water from tap was brown, tiles falling off, bed was comfortable and linens were clean. Breakfast was decent. There were teams staying there, and the children were running and screaming for hours! Beginning at 7am. Nobody did anything about it. Will not stay there again. Again the staff were very nice! Not their fault the place is not kept up, it’s old but doesn’t have to be that bad. Not happy

The pool was freezing but clean and the hot tub was warm but dirty. The first room we had the tv didn't work, the heater struggled to get the room warm at all and it stunk of stale cigarette smoke. Our 2nd room was much better although there was a weird mushy spot in the hallway right in front of our door. I didn't notice the cigarette smoke smell until on our way back from breakfast when it smelled like someone was actively smoking in the hallway.

The room was clean but the bathroom faucet was to be desired. The hot tub seemed like it could have been a little cleaner. The rest of the facility was clean and well kept. We happen to be staying on a hockey tournament weekend and were woken at 4 am by the other guests carrying on at the front desk. But everything else was good.
