「Enjoyable stay at what is perhaps best described as a fantastic restaurant with rooms. The restaurant overlooks the water and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. However our room was landside, with only a view of Irsha Street. Although small, the room and facilities were excellent. Fresh milk in the fridge is always much appreciated by us tea drinkers.」

「The Captains House is in a beautiful location. Very close to the river. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We had a room at the side of the building with its own little patio.」

「Beautiful clean property Drew & Penny are so friendly and helpful and the breakfast is excellent cooked to perfection with plenty of choice. This is our second visit and we will be returning next year.」

「very clean and quiet room, nice soft towels, comfortable bed and a quiet fan was provided in the room as we stayed during a very hot spell. The owners were really friendly and helpful, and very kindly offered us the room for a couple of hours longer after check out as we were attending a funeral that morning and wanted to change afterwards. We really appreciated their thoughtfulness. Definitely recommend staying here.」

「Will be interested to go back in a few years when they have made progress with the garden」
