Lovely house, ideal for our group

We loved the kitchen - a very sociable space, well-equipped and space for everyone to eat together. The snooker table, football pitch, hot tubs, games and puzzles were all very popular with our multi-age group. This is a beautiful area with lots of lovely walks. Great location. Comfy beds, quality bed linen. Although an older large property it was nice and warm. We liked the fire and the provision of wood to buy. Julian was helpful and responsive to any questions we had. Thank you for a lovely stay. A lock on the ensuite bathroom door in the annexe end of the house (the large bedroom with the sofas) would be helpful, and fairly easy to do. One of the hot tubs did get a bit smelly during our stay. We probably could have done with some chemicals to keep the water clean, as a week is quite a long time with a large group using it every day.
