Hot tub lid was difficult to put on and take off. Breakfast service was a little slow but food was lovely. We found lots of hair pins and grips in the floor from previous guests. The Bothy-Detached cottage,1 mile from Barnard Castle, Pet Friendly, EV Charger
Lovely cottage, very, snug and warm and comfortable, set in a beautiful and peaceful location with plenty of car parking space. Diane was an excellent host leaving us some nice goodies, a great information pack and some very useful local information.

1 Springwater View
We went for a family stay and it did not disappoint! Warm cosy and we were welcomed with fresh bread and treats left for us. Karen came down to check everything was ok. They also cleared snow from the awning over the hot tub! Great hosts this is are 2nd visit as a family
