「Very relaxing Staff were friendly one gent behind bar was a bit arrogant but overall our 4 day stay was good.. Oh there were ants in the room but didn’t really ruin our stay.. 」
「I wasn’t sure what to expect due to mixed reviews. However I had a ground floor room as requested. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and importantly for me the hairdryer was good. The bathroom had a bath with a shower. The overhead shower was powerfully enough and the water was hot. I wasn’t disturbed by noise, it was peaceful. My tv worked. Kettle was clean.
The only downside was my room felt a bit cold. I didn’t ask about the heating, maybe if I had they’d have helped.

「Enjoyable stay in one of the pub's rooms at the back of the property. Nice big room with settee and two chairs, much better than having to sit on the bed. Tea and coffee, fridge and bottled water are nice extra touches provided for when you get back from a day exploring. Shower good, water hot plus soft towels ( much appreciated!) and very quiet location in a small village with a handy village store in walking distance. Great overall stay.」

Food was excellent, very generous portions. Gluten free catered for very well.
Unfortunately the shower in room 33 constantly dripped.
Other than that great 1 night stay after a long day at Twycross Zoo.
