Excellent property in the heart of Barcelona. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful, great selections and excellent quality. Room was clean and in great shape. Plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby. The only downside was the lack of parking, we had to utilize a public garage a couple of blocks away at 28 euro per day.

Friendly staff and a great location, unfortunately the beds we encountered are in dire need of a mattress upgrade, one can count the springs through the sheets. Shame, we'd been here before, and other than the bed, all is fine, but this will make us look for alternatives in the future.

We recently stayed 2 nights at the Hotel Garbi Milleni and we really enjoyed our stay. It is located a short walk from the Gothic district which means it is out of the noise and the crowds associated with Las Ramblas and the other touristy areas. The room was smaller than we are used to, but that is very common in European hotels. The room was clean, quiet and had everything we needed. The breakfast was amazing! Lovely space with lots of tables and many food choices. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others.

The main thing was the service. Welcoming. They took care of us for taxi, refering restaurant or anything else. The room was very confortable. Plenty of food for breakfast at reasonable price. Very close to metro. Of course, it is Barcelona, so much to see and taste.

Great Location, Friendly Staff, but Not a 4-Star

Check-in at Hotel Garbi-Melli was quick and easy, with the option to check in online—a great idea. I was given my room key and pointed to the lift, very straightforward. The staff were very friendly. I’d rate this as a good 3-star hotel, not great, and definitely not a 4-star. The gym was disappointing, with only three cardio machines, but there are gyms nearby. The spa/jacuzzi didn’t seem too inviting. Rooms and bathrooms were very small, but the location was perfect—walking distance from the metro and plenty of restaurants.
