Not 5 mins from Sants Train station.

Easy to check in. Easy enough to find the area but the actual entrace less obvious. Good coffee in "kitchen". My only dissapointment was location. A 25 min walk from Sant Train Station rather than the misleading 5 min adertised walk which is to a local metro station that was not very useful. It quite a way out of town. There are shops and places to eat nearby. The accommodation was ver quiet. We slept well. Very clean and neat. Towels changed daily.

It was easy to get in (even after the desk stops being staffed), well light and clean. Great location. The pillows were like bolsters for couches, so way too thick for heads. The bed were decidedly mediocre. The shower too small for anyone beyond average height or weight - and impossible to turn on without being inside unless you soak the floor. It was fine for what it was, but nothing to rave about.

You need to be able to call the hotel if you're checking in after 2pm, since there is no one at the lobby wich is not on the main floor and seperated by 3 closed doors that can only be opened with a code, which the hotel doesn't provide in advance, or with a Fob. Otherwise good location and room was clean.

Enough for solo travellers

The hostel is located close to public transport which makes it easy to move or walk The room is small, no windows that allow sun into the room But the room was clean and tidy, enough for a solo travellers who don't like to sleep in bunk beds or shared rooms. The price was okay, not cheap There is a coffee machine, and a kettle in a shared room, and there is no place for smoking. Around the hostel you could find small shops and if you walk a bit there are restaurants Overall my experience was okay compared to other places in Barcelona

This hostal is at the end of bus 115 which connects it to the train station.. it's also very close to a metro station on line 1 but it needs a transfer to train station. It's in a residential neighborhood and has all your needs taken care of. The place is in clean and tidy although some hardware like shower head and dripping toilet can use some repairs. The only thing is the street noise, cars, people talking etc.

Staff: We recently stayed at Hostal Nova in Barcelona and unfortunately had a disappointing experience with the front desk staff. When we arrived, we had six heavy suitcases with us. We were unable to access the elevator to reach the first floor where the accommodation is located. Thinking we might have pressed the wrong button, we went up to reception first to inform them that the elevator was not working and to ask for assistance. Instead of being met with understanding or help, we were told rather bluntly, “It’s not my problem if the elevator is not working. I’m not a technician. I cannot do anything.” The tone felt dismissive and unfriendly. We understand that reception staff are not responsible for fixing elevators. However, we expected a more customer-service-oriented response — perhaps empathy, guidance, or even a simple apology for the inconvenience. Hospitality begins with how guests are treated, especially upon arrival. Unfortunately, this interaction made us feel unwelcome. Room: Clean and comfortable. Ample electrical outlets to use. Shampoo, blankets, towels provided.

Check in was extremely confusing and difficult. You had to call a number for check in. We talked to a gentleman with very limited understandable English. It was extremely stressful. There were others trying to check in at the same time with the same issue. Finally another guest who had already gone through it helped us a bit. There was no one the next morning available to pay our local taxes to. We had an early train and no staff was at the property yet.

Séjour express d’une nuit entre deux trains Très propre et correspondant à notre besoin Cependant il serait bien d’éteindre la lumière du couloir ou de la tamiser pour la nuit car cela est très désagréable et de rappeler aux invités ainsi qu’au personnel de ne pas faire de bruit avant 8h30.
