Great location

The location was great and the staff was super. Room was clean and comfortable. Their was a school in the square so it was a bit noisy from about 9:30 on but not a big deal. Overall was a really good experience and I would recommend for location alone.

Property is good for a 2 star hotel. We were told we got the short end of the stick and got the smallest room available. Hotel staff was beyond friendly and location was amazing for a weekend in Barcelona.

The room was very clean especially the bathroom. The walls in the room could use a wash. The bed was comfortable.

Basic accommodation close to Port Vell

Convenient location to the Ferry and Cruise terminals. The room was basic, beds firm and comfortable. After a late arrival it took the air conditioner some time to cool the room, no kettle, cups, glasses, mini fridge or even a face cloth. Even though we had arrived quite late in the evening a later check out was not possible.

If you are traveling alone or a couple this is simple and perfect. You have a bed, shower, sink and toilet. Don’t expect any luxuries. Overall close to a train station and close to the beach.

Cleanliness NEEDS work

This place deserved my 4 stars initially, it has elevator, and it's mostly decent. Beds are OK. The bathroom is too dark, needs a brighter light. I felt like they should replace the towels when they have holes or stains; because that is what I received. In my opinion, that's just not acceptable. Location is good, there's a small market nearby which is convenient. Buses and Metros are not too close but not too far, just wish it was closer. At night, the surroundings can get sketchy.

This is a nice place for a shorter visit. Only complaint was the showerhead slipped out of its holder. The design for showerhead seems to be commonplace for the area.

We enjoyed our stay here. Across the street is a beautiful church and square. The local clerk registrar's office is in the square, so we saw two wedding couples while we were there. The hotel is convenient to the Gothic area and the waterfront. Alex greeted us and was very nice! Because we were early and our room was not ready, he held our luggage for us, so we could explore the city. We could walk all over the city from here. The air conditioning was plenty cool, but it did not take the humidity out as well as it could, so things took longer to dry. If you don't wash clothes while traveling, this would not be a problem!

Good central location within walking distance to a lot of places of transport. Very small room no real windows, noise from other rooms and corridor, no kettle to make a tea or just a glass for water. Bed was uncomfortable and short. Its quite cheap in Barcelonas standards, so i found it acceptable, not exciting.
