Location: convenient for walking places, however, its on a busy street. Its very loud - both late at night and early in the morning.
The place: It's not a genuine 3 bedroom - it converts to a 3 bedroom with a sliding wall.
The A/C broke while we were there. It took 2 days for fans to be provided. (It was never repaired - although, the management claimed to try to locate a technician - which would understandably have been difficult in August) With the windows open, the noise was unbearable and we suffered an invasion of flying insects. When fans were provided, this ameliorated both issues - with white noise to partially cover the outside noise and keep the air moving, which seemed to keep the bugs away. There were no instruction manuals provided for the stove or the microwave - and the management company could not figure out how to work the latter without them, either.
One of the doors to the porch would not close properly, and the management either could not or would not fix it even though we granted access multiple times. Kitchen cabinets had been installed improperly and were hanging improperly off their hinges.
The pool was small. The place was not particularly clean. The neighbors did not obey the rules regarding noise late at night and the management did not take any effective measures to stop them.
We loved Barcelona. However, this was the worst experience we've ever had with VRBO.
