"We had a wonderful time in Pula. Our hosts met us on arrival and escorted us to the apartment. The location is excellent, directly in the city centre and walking distance to many restaurants, the port, and the colosseum. The 2 bedroom apartment was perfect for me, my wife and 2 young children. Air conditioning made the apartment very comfortable as it was very hot in Pula during our visit. "This “campground” facility far exceeded our expectations. We only stayed 1 night , but stayed in one of the glamping tents and thoroughly enjoy it. So comfortable with great views of the Adriatic. The evening was quiet and we slept so comfortably. Also stopped in the cafe in the evening and were so surprised at how lovely it was. "We stayed in the beach apartments with a sea view and cannot fault the accommodation. The resort however is much bigger than expected with a 15min walk to the main facilities. The pool is very busy with the normal battle for sunbeds. Lucky for us the beach was much closer and although busy, was a much better option. A regular bus runs from the complex to pula Town and taxis are a reasonable price. I would visit again."

"Angelo D'Oro is a wonderful hotel in the heart of Rovinj's beautiful Old Town. Its biggest advantage is the location—nestled among the charming narrow streets and just a short walk from the waterfront, restaurants, and all the main attractions. The rooms are finished to a very high standard, and the staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and accommodating, including assisting us with changes to our reservation without any issues. The only minor drawback is that there is no lift to the fourth-floor attic rooms, so be prepared for a few flights of stairs if you're staying at the top of the hotel. Parking is located a little way from the hotel, but the hotel provides a convenient golf cart service to and from the parking area on request, which made the process very easy. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would happily recommend Angelo D'Oro to anyone looking for a characterful, high-quality hotel in the perfect location to explore Rovinj."
