What a beautiful stay!! We thoroughly enjoyed the gorgeous grounds and views! The owners were so friendly and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable and the room was extremely clean. We would definitely stay here again!

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The view from the back porch is spectacular, and there is a lovely small beachfront area. Matt and Nicole were wonderful hosts and know the local attractions. We would go back and highly recommend.

The Acadia Bay Inn was beautiful both inside and out. The view was spectacular. The food was fabulous. It was the perfect place to disconnect and relax…but also close enough to Bar Harbor and other places when you wanted to do something. This is the first time we have ever stayed in a B&B. It was just as we hoped! Thank you Nicole and Matt.

Matt and Nicole were the perfect hosts, providing a fantastic full breakfast every morning and great travel and sightseeing advice. The property is beautifully kept with breathtaking views overlooking Acadia Bay and Cadillac mountain. The perfect “down east Maine” getaway! And we feel as if we now have two friends we didn’t have before. The best!

Our recent visit to the Acadia Bay Inn on our annual Anniversary trip was an awesome experience! Matt and Nicole were such great hosts! The breakfasts were 5 star! I can’t say enough about how relaxing and enjoyable our stay was, we even had wonderful weather! Driving up to the Inn and seeing my name on the welcome sign was such a nice touch! It is close enough to drive to Acadia Park, Bar Harbor, and Cadillac Summit, but was always wonderful to come back to out quiet, beautiful room! Thank you all so much!

Lovely B & B. Nicole & Matt are wonderful. Perfect for quiet peaceful weekend getaway. House is over 200 years old so the floors are little wonky angled. About a 20-30 minute drive either way to Acadia Nat’l Park. A few local restaurants within 10 min drive. You should notify them of any food allergies ahead of time as breakfast is just one option- what Nicole cooks 😊. Its lovely but if you are not an egg or gluten person you’d have issues. Cocktails wine and beer available for purchase. Matt is the bartender and he loves serving Fench Press coffee.

We had a fantastic stay at Acadia Bay Inn. It’s a gorgeous old home, built in the 1880’s. The period décor is in keeping with the original personality of the home. The view from the veranda was spectacular. Our bedroom was perfect, but we spent most of our time at the inn on the veranda. Coffee and breakfast in the mornings and wine in the afternoons and evenings. Nicole and Matt are super hosts. They are very engaging and enjoyable to be around. Matt is a great source of area information and history. Nicole created lovely breakfasts that were as delicious as they were beautiful. We enjoyed them each morning on the veranda soaking in the view of the bay. We are hoping for a return to Acadia Bay Inn with friends and family.

Wonderful experience from the moment we arrived to the time we left. Warm, inviting, accommodating, knowledgeable, helpful, and gracious are just some of the words to describe Nicole and Matt. My only regret was not being able to stay longer. The inn is beautiful and WOW on the location and stunning views. The food was thoughtfully prepared with each guest and their needs in mind. Attention to detail is evident. I can’t recommend it enough. Thank you!!

We were initially perplexed, thinking this place was adjacent to Bar Harbor. Thank goodness it isnt. Peaceful and away from the maddening crowds of BH. If you like lots of people, crowded parking, shops and restaurants within walking distance, this place isn't for you. Ehat we found was local hospitality, great restaurants in small towns. Our visits to eastern parks were crowd free,. Vs. main Acadia park, which was overrun. Wont say where we went, you'll have to ask the host of Acadia Bay.

A Hidden Gem on the Maine Coast - Pure Magic!

If I could give more than five stars, I would! Acadia Bay Inn in Sullivan, Maine is the kind of place that stays in your heart long after you leave. Nestled right on the water, this charming B&B offers a peaceful escape with breathtaking views of the bay and the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like family. The private shelling beach was an absolute highlight-especially at low tide, when the shore becomes a treasure trove of tiny shells and sea glass. Every morning started with delicious homemade breakfast, enjoyed inside the cozy dining area or back patio overlooking the lawn. French-pressed coffee was the perfect touch and made with care. The back lawn is a dream for watching the sunrise, daydreaming or reading a good book. The rooms are thoughtfully decorated, with comfy beds that made it hard to get up in the morning. And the BEST part? Hosts Matt and Nicole - they're warm, gracious, and truly go above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. If you're looking for a tranquil, scenic getaway with all the comforts of home and the charm of Maine, Acadia Bay Inn is it. We can't wait to visit again - Terri & Martin Gately
