The Acadia Bay Inn was beautiful both inside and out. The view was spectacular. The food was fabulous. It was the perfect place to disconnect and relax…but also close enough to Bar Harbor and other places when you wanted to do something. This is the first time we have ever stayed in a B&B. It was just as we hoped! Thank you Nicole and Matt.

What a beautiful stay!! We thoroughly enjoyed the gorgeous grounds and views! The owners were so friendly and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable and the room was extremely clean. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Inn and location. View was awesome. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Make sure to visit tidal falls at high and low tide, very close to the inn. Host did give us some suggestions to visit that were beautiful.

Wonderful experience from the moment we arrived to the time we left. Warm, inviting, accommodating, knowledgeable, helpful, and gracious are just some of the words to describe Nicole and Matt. My only regret was not being able to stay longer. The inn is beautiful and WOW on the location and stunning views. The food was thoughtfully prepared with each guest and their needs in mind. Attention to detail is evident. I can’t recommend it enough. Thank you!!

We were initially perplexed, thinking this place was adjacent to Bar Harbor. Thank goodness it isnt. Peaceful and away from the maddening crowds of BH. If you like lots of people, crowded parking, shops and restaurants within walking distance, this place isn't for you. Ehat we found was local hospitality, great restaurants in small towns. Our visits to eastern parks were crowd free,. Vs. main Acadia park, which was overrun. Wont say where we went, you'll have to ask the host of Acadia Bay.

A Hidden Gem on the Maine Coast - Pure Magic!

If I could give more than five stars, I would! Acadia Bay Inn in Sullivan, Maine is the kind of place that stays in your heart long after you leave. Nestled right on the water, this charming B&B offers a peaceful escape with breathtaking views of the bay and the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like family. The private shelling beach was an absolute highlight-especially at low tide, when the shore becomes a treasure trove of tiny shells and sea glass. Every morning started with delicious homemade breakfast, enjoyed inside the cozy dining area or back patio overlooking the lawn. French-pressed coffee was the perfect touch and made with care. The back lawn is a dream for watching the sunrise, daydreaming or reading a good book. The rooms are thoughtfully decorated, with comfy beds that made it hard to get up in the morning. And the BEST part? Hosts Matt and Nicole - they're warm, gracious, and truly go above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. If you're looking for a tranquil, scenic getaway with all the comforts of home and the charm of Maine, Acadia Bay Inn is it. We can't wait to visit again - Terri & Martin Gately

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The view from the back porch is spectacular, and there is a lovely small beachfront area. Matt and Nicole were wonderful hosts and know the local attractions. We would go back and highly recommend.

Lovely B & B. Nicole & Matt are wonderful. Perfect for quiet peaceful weekend getaway. House is over 200 years old so the floors are little wonky angled. About a 20-30 minute drive either way to Acadia Nat’l Park. A few local restaurants within 10 min drive. You should notify them of any food allergies ahead of time as breakfast is just one option- what Nicole cooks 😊. Its lovely but if you are not an egg or gluten person you’d have issues. Cocktails wine and beer available for purchase. Matt is the bartender and he loves serving Fench Press coffee.
