「This is our 4th or 5th stay at one of Matthew’s properties and our experience was as we have come to expect. His properties are comfortably furnished, clean, and consistent with their descriptions. We have never needed assistance as there have never been issues with check in or maintenance, but I have no doubt it would be handled quickly and efficiently. When I come home to visit my central IL hometown, I always look for a listing of Mathew’s to use during my stay. 」

「It seemed to be. We received email threats telling us how much the fines would be if we left any dirty dishes or didn’t take out the trash or checked in too early or checked out too late. All the coffee mugs had visible dirt or food on them inside and out. The water glasses had food spots on them. The lamps in one bedroom didn’t work, though they worked when plugged into an outlet in the kitchen. It was ok, but worrying about all the possible ways we might have to pay a $20, or $25, or $30 fine...

「DIRTY and MICE. Second time staying here. First time was dirty but manageable. This time we could not find another place open so decided to stay here thinking it could not be worse. WRONG. Floors were filthy. Walked around in my bare feet and they were black on the bottoms. We had to wear shoes the rest of time in the house. No supplies to clean ourselves.
