and this property was solid. We had easy access to their area out back for them to go potty. The included breakfast was as good as you’ll get for included breakfast— sausage and biscuits were solid. Very convenient to Sugar Mountain and also Beech Mountain. The rooms are accessed from the outside and that area requires you to be cautious so you don’t slip. Overall, exactly what we needed. "

"Inn is on the National Historic Landmark list. Main house has wonderful character and charm. We had a room on the third floor with a small gas stove. They also have a restaurant and the food was outstanding. We expect to come back many times. Staff was friendly. "

"Our large group of 15 people had a great time at The Overlook Lodge! The place was clean, nice and spacious. All bedrooms were large and comfortable, most of them had ensuite bedrooms, which made it all very comfortable and easy. The enormous kitchen island could easily accommodate our entire group for dinners and socializing, and we didn't really feel like we lacked anything. The parking lot fit multiple cars and it was easy to load your groceries and gear indoors after coming home....

"Loved the fantastic views from the house. The fact that every room had a bathroom was a deciding factor when picking this house. We were 6 couples sharing the house. The only drawback was the location was about 30 or so minutes getting places with a bunch of curves. Next time we will plan all our meals for dinner at the house."

"We had a fantastic stay at this spacious house, perfect for our large family group! It was very clean and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The pool table, jacuzzi, and foosball added a lot of fun to our time together. We gave the newlyweds the king suite with the amazing bathroom and I was jealous! The wraparound porch was fantastic and I love the back yard view. I noted some sleds and an amazing sledding hill, so we’d love to return for a winter trip! Vacasa...
