This custom-built cabin offers breathtaking mountain views in an emerging luxury community, just 4 miles from downtown Banner Elk and 5 minutes from Banner Elk Winery. Both Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain are less than 20 minutes away, while Valle Crucis, home to the original Mast General Store and the popular Valle Crucis Riverside Community Park, is only 18 minutes away. A 40-minute drive will take you to Boone or the famous Grandfather Mountain State Park.

“What A View!” is a stunning post-and-beam chalet that features a wall of windows in the main-floor living room and an expansive deck, showcasing the magnificent scenery of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This creates a memorable backdrop for a fantastic getaway in the High Country. The open-concept main-floor living space includes a leather sectional couch, a gourmet kitchen, and a dining area. The main-floor master bedroom features a king bed and an ensuite bathroom with a large stone-and-tile step-in shower.

Upstairs, you'll find a loft with a workspace along with two bunk rooms equipped with XL twin-over-queen bunk beds, sharing an upstairs bathroom. The downstairs bedroom has a California king bed and a double-size pull-out sofa that is perfect for children. There are also two twin-size sleeping chairs for additional sleeping spots. The lower-level family room includes a wall-mounted TV and theater-style seating, a mini kitchen, and a ping-pong table, providing ample space for fun and relaxation. Sliding glass doors in the family room open to a pebble-style patio area with a path leading to a luxury hot tub that overlooks the mountains.

“What A View!” allows up to 2 dogs with your reservation, with a weight limit of 50 pounds each. The cabin includes WiFi, four Smart TVs for your streaming accounts, and a washer and dryer. Central heating and air conditioning ensure year-round comfort. Please note that the gravel driveway has a steep incline, so 4WD or AWD is required for winter travelers. An EV charger is conveniently located in the parking area. The outdoor fire pit is currently incomplete, so please do not use the concrete fire pit area.
