You are in a fantastic location between the magnificent Labeaume Gorges, the Chassezac Gorges and the unmissable Ardèche Gorges and its magnificent Pont d'Arc; Discover one of the strangest curiosities of the Ardèche with The Forest of Païolive. It is a true natural labyrinth overlooking the Chassezac with strange and inimitable sculptures made of jagged limestone blocks formed by erosion. Also visit the magical caves of Cocalière or Aven d'Orgnac.

  • This is just one of many spectacular views from a walk entitled "Pas Du Loup". We started at Capluc, a cross on a peak above Le Rozier and did the entire circuit. It's still comfortably in my top ten all time great walks. If you suffer acrophobia it's one to be avoided. The area is also something of a mecca for rock climbers. The whole Goreg du Tarn is a special place for me because the tourist buses don't go there and it's reputedly the deepest gorge in Europe.

Voyage ardeche
