I stayed at this hotel for about two weeks. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the room was very comfortable. The hotel staff were kind and helpful, and the laundry service was careful and reliable. The only insects I saw in the room were a few ants, and even those appeared only occasionally at night during the rainy season. One thing to note is the location. Since the hotel is in Bangli, it can be difficult to get a Grab taxi. The area does not allow advance ride bookings, so you have to try your luck each day to find a driver. However, if you can arrange transportation, I highly recommend this hotel for its reasonable price, cleanliness, and the kindness of the staff.

Prachtige, uitstekend onderhouden kamers in een prachtig resort. Fijn zwembad, laundry is snel en goedkoop. De eigenaar is een uitstekend gastheer, het overig personeel vakkundig en heel plezierig. Prima keuken.

I don’t even know how to describe Asli Bali Villa, another traveler I met there called it a gem but it is more than that. If you want to experience authentic balinese food, lifestyle and culture this wont disappoint. I had only booked one night but within the first hour I knew I wanted to stay as long as I could and booked a few more nights. The villa’s grounds are clean and reflect mastery of the art of gardening and sculpture that have been carved by the owner. Beautiful Koi swim in several ponds. Tucked into a quiet village with the steady rhythm of daily Balinese life, it is the true reflection of the beauty Bali has to offer. The owner’s son, TJ, was my driver and tour guide and was also part of my amazing experience there. His English was very good, he listened to what I wanted to do and see and put together some amazing experiences that I will treasure forever. He was a joy to be around and was very patient with all of my questions and has a great sense of humor. What stood out the most though was the staff, they paid attention to details and nothing felt rushed or transactional. The only problem is that once you stay there all other places wont be as good. TJ, my guide, also offered to drive me to my conference hotel near the airport and it was great having a driver I trusted. He even made sure I made it to my next adventure ok. I thought Bali was just going to be checking a box on my bucket list but now I want to come back every year and stay here.

Jag har bara superlativer för att beskriva Asli Bali Villa. Rummet, omgivningen, poolen, maten var allt underbart.Det bästa dock är alla som jobbar där. Vänliga, alltid med ett leende. Det finns så mycket att göra runt Asli Bali Villa, vi åkte till olika vattenfall, vi var på tempel och en kväll fick vi den stora äran om att få vara med på en ceremoni. En av mina bästa upplevelse på Bali. Jag längtar redan till att få åka tillbaka till Bangli och Asli Bali Villa.

Personal sehr hilfsbereit und gibt sehr gute Tipps und erfüllt jeden Wunsch umgehend. Roller kann direkt an der Unterkunft ausgeliehen werden. Super toller Wasserfall in der Nähe wurde uns vom Personal empfohlen. Würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

I am so sorry to write such a negative review but, as we arrived in Asli Bali Villa, we talked to the staff and wanted to know where the kitchen is. As we have had chosen this accommodation also because of the shared kitchen, which was published in the description from the booking platform. The only two reasons to use the kitchen was, to prepare our shakes (I am an international triathlete and currently in Training) and to use the gas stove for our coffee Mokka pot. At the reception we were informed that this description was a mistake and nobody neither the owner of the hotel was willing to find a solution for us, we spent more than one hour with phone calls to the owner. The next negative item was, that we booked a two room suite (this was described and also supported with pictures) and we were told that this second living room (with the couch and desk) is only for a family - we are only a couple.. Nothing like this was described before. The situation went into an absolutely negative direction and nobody was willing to help. A cancellation wasn’t possible, because we have payed already. After two hours of discussion time the reservation was a bit more willing to compromise. One lady of the Staff wasn’t friendly at all and at the end we got a blender on the hand to prepare shakes, but everything arround like Glases, etc. we had to fight for. But we still didn’t got access to the kitchen as well. Not a nice start. I definitely would suggest to send a message to the hotel.

A perfect getaway from the touristy areas, feels like the real Bali. The hotel is family run, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. You can walk to the small local village, and to a couple of beautiful waterfalls. The hotel is very peaceful and tranquil and with only 4 rooms it’s very peaceful, so a great place to go after busy Ubud. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean, the pool is lovely and excellent food! Would stay here again for sure.
