Timbuctoo Guest Suite 2 sits on a ranch just outside Bandera, about 10 minutes from downtown. From the front porch, the view runs over grassy fields and mature oaks, where exotic deer and a herd of donkeys roam.
The suite has warm wood finishes, corrugated tin paneling and cowboy decor. There is a queen bed, large windows, and a handcrafted wood table and chairs. The kitchenette has a Keurig-style coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge, and the private bathroom has a glass walk-in shower and wall drawers. A wall air conditioner, a portable heater, a ceiling fan, a smart TV (sign in to your own apps) and Wi-Fi are all in the room. Linens and towels are provided.
A flagstone path leads past a private fire pit, with firewood provided. There is a covered porch and deck with seating, a charcoal grill, hiking trails on the ranch, and a seasonal fishing pond; check with us on its availability. Parking has room for trailers and motorcycles.
Early check-in may be available if you ask. Every stay includes the Texas Hill Country Travel App, a local guide for exploring the area.
WHY WE LIKE IT
What we tell people about Suite 2 is that it is a quiet place for two, about 10 minutes from downtown Bandera. The front porch looks over grassy fields and mature oaks, where exotic deer and a herd of donkeys wander. A flagstone path leads to a private fire pit, with firewood provided. And there are hiking trails right on the ranch.
