The property was clean, comfortable, and exactly as advertised. The a/c kept things comfortable even with the hot summer heat outside. Perfect location to enjoy all the character and vibe that Bandera provides!
A cozy and well appointed little space. We enjoyed our two nights day in spite of the bed being too soft as well as the pillow being too soft. The coffee maker didn’t work however, on the other side of the block is a nice restaurant.
Perfect place to stay if you want to visit Bandera. Walking distance to Main Street and across the street from 11th Street Cowboy Bar and The Trail Boss restaurant
We loved the Lonesome Dove Hotel. My husband and I stayed for a weekend and we would have liked to have stayed longer. Its a small place, but has been designed to be very cozy and comfortable. The location is perfect and we walked to town, which is a really fun place to explore. This place has everything you need and has been decorated beautifully with a true western flair.
Great Cottage with reserved parking out front. We enjoyed being in the thick of things. I recommend a good set of noise canceling headphones if your going to bed before 1am :)
This room with kitchenette and little living area was perfect. We were there for just 1 night picking our boys up from camp. It is perfectly located across from fun bars etc. and a short walk to many restaurants. Will definitely consider staying here again! Thank you.
We rented this place for a weekend get away only an hour from our house and was well worth it. The town itself was awesome with the river and dance halls and bars as well as shopping unique stores. The little house is right in the middle of all of this within walking distance! During the day we cooled off in the river and in the evening closed down the cowboy bar with cold beer and two stepping to live music, which is right across the street! Decor was awesome, front porch was great too, lots of people watching. If you do rent this place be sure to put the cones out that are on the side of the building or your spot will get taken. Other than it was amazing and we will definitely be back!
Spencer and everyone else at Backwoods Reservations truly understand customer service! I had so many issues when it came to booking a place to stay through a separate booking site and Spencer spent so much time helping me out! Apart from that, the stay was perfect. We parked the truck when we got there and it didn’t move until we left...that’s how close you are to everything! The place is clean, has a home feel, and offers everything that you need for a laid back getaway. I hope you like live music, because 11st Street is open until 2am every night with love music!
Well described in the listing - accurate pictures. We loved the Lonesome Dove theme and was a perfect setting for a south Texas Western weekend. Very comfortable cabin - great “world famous western bar” directly across the street. Great country bands Friday & Saturday night . Fun shopping and food all in walking distance. We had a blast! Thank you for a great getaway!
