「I would highly recommend anyone who enjoys the outdoors to spend a night or two at Kuangsi Resort and visit the falls at leisure and have the time to climb to the top and then walk the 3kms to the source. The pool at Kuangsi is world class. The resort is quiet, the restaurant was great and the staff really accommodating. Loved our two night stay here after 5 nights in Luang Prabang.」

「We loved our night at hillside lodge. The manager was super friendly and helpful and even though we arrived early they didn’t charge us more and also let us. Heck out after lunch the next day which we really appreciated. The food was delicious, some of the best we ate in Lao, and totally reasonable prices given that we were not close to the town and they could easily have charged us a lot more. The transfer to the property and airport by the owner were great.」

「This place is amazing ! A very peaceful place to relax for a few days. The staff are really polite and helpful. The rooms have good AC and a good shower. There is a restaurant onsite and the food is great. I would recommend a few nights here as it is beautiful to spend a full day sitting on your riverside porch watching the river flow by. Trips to the waterfall are available (it’s dry at the moment but still with the river boat ride) They will pick you up from LP for 300k. Swimming in...

「Natural environment with great staff very friendly and helpful. Always smiling. Good stay if you love the nature. The Zipline adventure is superb. Alot to do if you are a nature lover. The vast flower garden is amazing. well taken care of and great place to relax, have a picnic (I am sure the staff is able to arrange this!). Great campfire in winter months.」

「disappointing 」

「The room we got was a bit dated. Quite a few damage amenities in the room. Limited t.v channels. Dirty sheets and pillows. Cold and limited breakfast. Carry your own luggage. Quite far from city center and will cost 100,000 kp one way. Free tuk tuk to the airport, but don’t forget to grab your own luggage. 」
