So much more than your usual accommodation. Beautiful historic mansion, with so much character. Has a peaceful & magical feel to it. Staff are lovely, rooms are modern and very clean but still have all the old charm & character from the structure to the furniture. Grounds are stunning and there is so much to do! We have stayed three times now and plan to again. Every time we stay, we are sad to leave.

Such a beautiful place, even at night with the lights is was magical. Room is what you pay for, nothing fancy but very pretty. And the price was great, I would be interested to know if they do weddings because I would definitely consider it.

Unfortunately the weather was cold and wet, which took away the ambience and our ability to sit by the lake or use the tennis court. However the indoor spa and gym are ideal for the person wanting to relax or get some exercise, plus the indoor pool was close by. Recommend a visit but I expect that it is very busy in the warmer months given what it offers. 10/10

This property far exceeded our expectations. Historic property with plenty to do onsite. Paddle boats on the lake, electric bikes, playground, indoor heated pool, games, vege garden/ fruit trees to help yourself. The apartment we had slept 4 with good kitchen facilities and living space. Huge bedrooms! Little booklet with a short history of the property was a nice touch. The only thing id change would be an update to the mattress which was far to soft and for the soft furnishings to be laundered prior to each visit. I always remove decorative cushions and blankets anyway but these were very clearly dirty and dusty.

My family and I were so impressed with our stay, the property is absolutely stunning, our apartment was super comfortable and there were so many activities to keep us entertained. We've already booked to return in a couple of months. The staff were all extremely helpful.

Nice and clean hotel but without much perks

Was a lovely apartment and quite comfortable inside. I didn't like the fact we had to empty our own rubbish downstairs each day. I've never experienced this and felt it was bad service (or no service!). Very little amount of milk given and most extra food were extra costs, including internet and even movies. Am thankful we didn't stay there longer than a day really. Staff very friendly but they should at least get someone to help with baggage on check in.
