"This place was cozy and perfect. My daughter recently moved to the area and so I wanted to find a place that I hoped will become a home away from home for my husband and I whenever we visit, and we found it! The bed was comfortable. "We were looking for somewhere to stay that was close to Mount Wachusett. The cottage was very clean, cozy, and had many amenities including a fully stocked kitchen and an electric fireplace . Though we were for skiing there during the wintertime, the cottage is on a lake and kayaking is also an option during the summer. The hosts were quickly available to us with any questions. There is even a complimentary bottle of wine to enjoy!"

"We had a great time at the cottage and were pleasantly surprised at the quaintness of the pond and surrounding community. Wonderful stay overall! We skied Wachusett. Which was 5 min drive and Wachusett Brewery was amazing! We recommend checking the sauna hookup first and more adult sized towels! Everything else was lovely!"

"We had a pleasant stay at The Colonial. It was relatively close to Game On in Fitchburg, where my daughter had a basketball tournament. It is a outdated, but very clean. The only negatives were they provided our room with minuscule size bottles of shampoo and conditioner, so we had to ask for more. Also, front desk was calling our phone around checkout to make sure we were out of the room. It made us feel they were rushing us out."
