"We arrived late evening but received a very friendly welcome from the guys on reception.
Room clean & comfortable with excellent shower, all nicely decorated."
"Very spacious room and amazing location. We used it as base to explore Snowdonia, Anglesey and Llyn peninsula. We travelled with a small baby and they were happy to accommodate us with a cot. Easy and free parking outside the property. Amazing restaurant next door. Staff was so helpful - Marilyn helped me out and literally saved me! Thank you very much. We will be back!"
"I’m extremely fussy and very particular, however I thought this hotel was absolutely lovely!
The majority of staff were great, the food was wonderful and it was clean, comfortable, homely and had a really nice ambience.
I’ve knocked a star off for little things like tiny plates for breakfast (what’s that all about?), crumbs were still all over our floor after the room had been cleaned, the floor to the shower was lethally slippy, the breakfast wasn’t kept hot (luke warm at best), and the coffee was revolting (You’re missing out on a trick there …… imagine if you invested in a PROPER coffee machine and cakes - you’d make a killing)!
Not overly impressed at being charged £25 per person (as a guest) to use the pool/spa.
However, none of the above detracted from a lovely stay.
We’d definitely stay here again. "
"The room was okay. Though to be fair clean. The beds were a tad uncomfortable. The bed had a ridge at the side so probably needs a new matress. The pillars were cheap. One was too low and two were too high. The breakfast was of a reasonable standard. Though I doubt whether the sausages were Welsh sausages. Probably cheap sausages from wholesale suppliers. I used to make sausages and these definately werent home made. The buffet was very average. The bread was cheap commercial bread. The yogurts were full of ultra processed rubbish. Someone needs to take control of this aspect of the experience. On the positive side the location and the Staff were very pleasant. Not sure whether I would be back in a hurry. "
"Good staff and location but the hotel is badly maintained, out of date, and in need of a serious renovation. Shower and bed were poor. Rooms very dated. I do not plan to stay again. Note: This is a pub so can be a little loud, but to be expected."
