Red Roof Inns seem to be reliably clean and a good place for a stay for those traveling through, unlike other chains such as Motel 6, which has gone downhill in recent years

I liked the beds didn’t like the bathroom they needed to be remodeled and the heater didn’t work. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The bedsheets and the room were clean. But other than that the service was poor. No breakfast, no in-room coffee, no tissues, no soap bars or shampoo bottles, just dispensers that you had to push several times to get a drop of soap. Definitely not the usual red roof quality!

The carpet and floors were filthy. The baseboards were peeled off the walls and lying on the floor. The shower curtain was so torn it barely worked. It is one of the worst rooms I've ever stayed in.

Very very loud. Next door neighbor had cars coming and going. Felt very unsafe. Will NEVER go there again. Every time the upstairs people moved the floor board creaked, sounded like they were gonna crash through the ceiiing. Mold in the bathroom showers area.

Don't trust the pictures

The images you see online is not representative of what you will get after booking as the images might be from a long time ago when the inn first opened(?). Room was very dated, dirty, and smelled terrible. The room I got smelled like vomit. Floor boards in the restroom were bulging and warped. Overall, the stay was unpleasant...

Washers do not wash dryers, do not dry insect inside the room. Water leaks from the restroom outside. All my clothes my wet , laundry mat, said it with water, horrible.

No standards, disgusting rooms.

The first room we checked into smelled heavily like cigarettes, had stains all over the comforters and one had two burn holes in it, the floor had dried blood and there was a dead cockroach in the bathroom. I asked for a different room and that one also smelled like cigarettes, multiple stains on the floor, stains on the beds as well. We left. No one should have to sleep somewhere that makes them wonder if they’re going to get some kind of disease from the lack of cleaning.

Sink drained poorly. Light bulb was out. No soap or shampoo, just dispensers like airport rest rooms, that only dispensed a drop at a time if you pressed very hard, Poorly sound-insulated place - you heard people walking normally in the room above.
