Welcome to D Street Hideaway! You will enter the home into a cozy living room that is perfect for relaxing & chatting with friends, playing board games or curling up with your favorite book! The couch folds out into a bed for two.

Next is the spacious kitchen complete with a picnic table style dining table and room for up to 8 people!

Kick back and get a perfect night's rest in each of the 3 bedrooms- one King bed, one Queen bed & 2 twin beds all with brand-new mattresses for ultimate comfort! The two full bathrooms are directly across the hall from the bedrooms for easy access. There is also a laundry room complete with a full-size washer & dryer!

Last but not least, enter into the spacious and oh-so-comfortable family room with seating for 6! Enjoy the 50-inch Smart TV with access to all of your favorite streaming services!

Exit out the back door of the family room to a spectacular patio with tons of comfy seating, an eating table and umbrellas. Grill up your favorite feasts on the large gas BBQ grill and enjoy the large fully fenced backyard. Take in the amazing sunsets on the patio or the views of the majestic Elkhorn Mountains on the front porch!

The walkability is a definite plus from this home! Located just 1 block from the Baker City Fairgrounds and just down the street from the paved River Walk that runs through town. A quick stroll down the pathway will lead you to all the amazing things that downtown Baker City has to offer!

D Street Hideaway is the perfect home for getaways with family or with friends!

This property features 1 exterior doorbell camera located at the front entrance, one exterior camera located above garage door in driveway and one exterior camera located on the north side of the home by the RV/Boat parking area. All cameras face outward and do not look into any interior spaces. The cameras record video and sound when activated by motion. Great getaway, especially with dog

Although I had some trouble with the VRBO app (downloaded & updated just the day before), Brian and Amber were very responsive as I was trying to get the address. The house is very clean and larger than it appears on the outside, and it has a fantastic back patio and fenced yard for a dog. We loved the coffee maker, microwave, and crock pot! The second bathroom has a very tight / small shower - but if you're able to use the main bath / shower, this is not a problem.

Once again a perfect stay at this VRBO. Just as before it was great! This home is cozy and nicely decorated. The backyard this time of year is wonderful! GREAT communication with the owner. Easy check in and very simple check out. I appreciate that there isn't a long list of chores to do! We will definitely book a stay here again.

Graduation Weekend

The house was nice and big with a separate space to relax and watch tv. Everyone had their own space. The kitchen was fully stocked, including things I did not expect. An ample amount of pots, pans, utensils, spices, and other pantry ingredients. The bathroom closest to the master was small and a bit awkward to use, but otherwise the house was perfect for what we needed. The hosts were wonderful and very accommodating. Would definitely recommend!!

Everything was great, clean, access was easy, hosts were very welcoming. Only complaint is the beds were very firm. As senior women it was uncomfortable. Otherwise, highly recommended!

Nice and pleasant home with lots of room to spread out, plenty of comfy seating and stylish decor. Lots of amenities for all your needs. The house is much bigger on the inside with a really spacious living room in the back. We really enjoyed the mountain views out the windows, the great sized yard with patio and all the board games. We made some core memories with family that will be cherished forever! A few things to point out - the mattresses are on the firmer side. The fridge has an icemaker that can be quite loud at times (even during the night) and the thermostat was difficult to figure out (it isn't a touchscreen; you have to adjust it on the side where the white part is). Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Oregon Trail Visit

We came to Baker City to visit the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center and Baker City Museums. We loved the house! It was perfect for our group. We didn’t really do any cooking but the kitchen was nice. Glad it had 2 bathrooms. The family room in the back was so cozy and homey! Great location!
