"Excellent colonial-style building with incredible natural surroundings, but the hotel looks neglected. The room was nice and spacious, but the bathroom smelled awful, like a sewer. I had to buy bleach and use it, but it didn't get rid of the smell. There was a leak in the sink and mold between the tiles and under the sink. I had to report it at the front desk, and they only provided one towel under after inspection. Also, the rooms didn't have air conditioning, and with the mosquitos, we couldn't open the windows. Honestly, it's a nice place, but it needs renovations asap. Otherwise, the staff's attention was very good, the restaurant had good service, typical Costa Rican food, the prices were somewhat high compared to the quality and quantity."

"True mountainside house with amazing views. Large property with nice landscaping and even a waterfall. Very family friendly with tons of provided games and basketballs and soccer balls. Huge terrace with dining table and multiple places to sit inside and outside. Many dishes provided but no dishwasher. Lots glass windows and doors so views available almost everywhere. Host was very easily available remotely with many useful suggestions. Many sites and Turrialba within 15-20 minutes."

"If you want ultimate rainforest luxury and top level service you should stay here. Not to be missed. Raft in and out via the Pacuare river and be completely enveloped by the forest and river in the middle of nowhere while having high level meals breakfast, lunch and dinner, incredible adventure programs like zip lining through the canopy and repelling down little waterfall. Seriously. 1000% The food was top tier. The service was thoughtful and personal. The staff is amazing. And they have great wifi. In the middle of nowhere. Deep jungle. The rafting is world class. I had a Linda vista villa and it was an absurd amount of space and privacy with a personal plunge pool. Come back from dinner and your lights are on, fan going and curtains drawn. Seriously, stay here. I'm coming back again someday."
