"Peaceful and relaxing. On edge of town in quiet neighborhood, next to lake. The proprietor Carlos speaks fluent English which was very helpful for a gringo on his first week in Mexico. The one potential downside, which I actually learned to see as a positive, is it takes 10-15 minutes over very slow bumpy cobblestone streets to reach the property. Take a kayak out on the lake!"

"Communication was great with the owners/managers. Olga was exceptionally helpful. Our room, however, was not pleasant. No hot water in the kitchen. No hot water in the bathroom sink plus faucet handle fell off. No shower curtain until we asked for it. Broken toilet roll holder. Handwritten notes asking for maid tip (no service ever) and also to take care of trash (no bags provided), Mop bucket left in room with mop in it. My sister got locked in her room as the door lock jammed. Freezing room....

But nobody was at the desk front ,I had a situation with my electric door entrance but there was nobody to help me.I stay there for 5 days total and they do not clean the room ,I understand the place is green friendly but cleanness can be environmentally friendly as well. "The only issue I have and probably won’t use Hotels.com again is my flight was delayed and I missed my connecting flight out of Dallas. I was forced to stay all night in Dallas Out of my control and I prepaid for the hotel and they would not take that into consideration. Not a good thing "
