「Our stay was relaxing and enjoyable. A slight delay with check in at 3pm. Our room wasn’t ready til after 4pm. I suppose it is to be expected in peak summer season. They stored our bags and we had a quick swim. Our luggage was delivered to our room and we received a bottle of wine in our room chilled ready to enjoy. The room was fabulous with gorgeous views of the Douro Valley, and the pool area relaxing. Room service was delicious and convenient. The staff were very helpful and accommodating...

「This hotel is located right on the Douro, in a picturesque spot. There's a parking area right outside. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel claims to be four star; it may have been once but it no longer is. The rooms are spartan. A 20" tv from the 2000s. No amenities whatsoever in the bathroom, which had a broken wall shower and between one and three lights randomly working, depending on I know what. I had to move furniture to find the only single wall outlet close to the bed....

Please note that the only way to get there is by car and the most convenient option is to take advantage of the dinner offered. It should be noted that there is an opportunity to taste very good local wine on site.」

And the breakfast across the street at the LaiLai restaurant… epic. It is not a lame hotel breakfast. It’s made to order. It’s got balcony seating overlooking the river. And the staff there are amazing too. Shout out to Rita, front desk and concierge at the hotel. She was amazing, responsive, and even rescued us from a failed uber attempt 30...

「Amazing accommodation. D’Autor village is a beautiful property composed of several small villas, with a great pool that overlooks the valley. Please is spotless, with great hospitality and very nice staff that is always there to help and answer any questions you may have. Breakfast was plentiful and very good. Property is located in the Vinho verde region so expect some travelling if you’d like to visit the Douro valley.」
