Please note: While we welcome visitors to Bahama Bluebs across the street in season during open hours, the Blueberry Farm is not included in your reservation.

You'll have parking for up to 5 cars comfortably in the private drive. Please do not use the Blueberry patch lot across the street. Bahama, north of Downtown Durham, is the best of both worlds - far enough to be peaceful, but close to all the conveniences! You’ll be in easy proximity to:

A few helpful notes before booking: • Quiet hours begin at 10 PM out of respect for neighboring properties and the peaceful rural setting • No parties, large gatherings, or unauthorized events permitted • Smoking or vaping is not allowed anywhere on the property • Pets are not permitted in the house or on the grounds • Please note the home is not specifically child-proofed, and adult supervision is required outdoors at all times
Outdoor Safety Big Thunder Farm is an active historic farm property with natural landscape features and preserved structures. • The pond is decorative and naturalized for local flora and fauna only. Swimming, wading, fishing, boating, or entering the pond area is prohibited. • Historic barns and outbuildings throughout the property are preserved for visual character only and are not accessible to guests under any circumstances. These structures may be unstable and should not be entered or approached closely. • Guests are welcome to enjoy the grounds, walking areas, porches, and designated outdoor seating spaces while respecting all posted boundaries and safety guidelines.
Longer Stays & Guest Screening • Reservations longer than 29 nights may require additional fees depending on the length and details of the stay. If applicable, these will be discussed prior to confirmation. • For the safety of our guests, neighbors, and properties, we use a secure third-party screening provider, Safely, as part of the reservation process. By confirming the reservation, guests agree to this screening. Guests may receive a follow-up email to verify identity and confirm reservation details. Commercial Use & Third-Party Services • Airbnb Services or Experiences hosted by third parties are not permitted at the property without prior written approval. Unauthorized events, productions, commercial activities, or unapproved service providers may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation without refund.
