My husband, dog and I loved our stay here! It was so peaceful and out in the middle of the wild, while still being close to Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park. We enjoyed the hot-tub, watching the sunset, and the good wifi connection to be able to watch college football. We would stay here again if we were back in the area.
Very cute house that has great views. The hot tub and fire pit were great ways to spend the evening after a day at the national parks. A great mountain experience.
Just what we needed for our national parks trip. Close to both Kings Canyon and Sequoia. The neighborhood was quiet and remote. The roads are narrow and windy but worth it to see those views. The place was as described and had a lot for you to do while resting after a day of hiking (hot tub, puzzles, games, telescope) . Sarinah communicated an issue with us promptly. Would recommend!
This property was really good to stay for our stay! Had everything we needed for our stay and was able to see the host put a lot of effort and thought into this place for the guests!

This place was amazing! The owner has left nothing out - has thought of everything you might need for your stay. The kitchen is fully stock with dishes, pots and pans- and not the thrift store items. The appliances have been updated. I didn’t use the jacuzzi but I did look at it and the temperature felt right and it was spotless. My only negative is it takes about an hour to get to Sequoia park. Also of note for those that get car sick- the roads have a lot of twists and turns, which was not a drawback for me. I would definitely recommend a stay here. Also, my dogs loved being outside and exploring.
We really enjoyed staying here! It was well stocked and pretty scenic drive to sequoia and not to far at all! Between the hot tub and outdoor seating fire pit and bbq we love being outdoors and appreciated these amenities!
Perfect spot to stay after calling for a week! We enjoyed all the location had to offer. There were prescribed burns in the area but still a beautiful property
This property was the best VRBO we’ve rented! The views, the amenities, the gracious host—all top notch. The road construction added some time and effort to get to parks, but even with that, we’d choose to stay here again in a heartbeat.
Exactly what we were looking for - nice quiet getaway with privacy and enough amenities to not have to leave. The property itself appears large, but very little accessibility. Hills are steep and there are no trails.

I can't say enough positive things about this cottage! The host was incredibly responsive and you can tell a lot of details were put in place to make every person feel right at home. The views are immaculate from the property and a comfortable drive to the national parks. I would book again in a heartbeat if ever in the area!
This cabin is perfect for a couple and their dog. The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen has everything, and the view is great. The stars are beautiful. We would recommend using Dunlap Road to access the cabin, avoiding Millwood Rd.
This property has everything you need for a relaxing and peaceful stay. The sunsets were absolutely beautiful and the outdoor area with the grill, fire pit and hot tub were great. I wish we would have had one more day/night to enjoy the property only. It’s a little out of the way to get to, but completely worth it. Owners’ communication was amazing as well. Great place to stay!
This property was perfect for our visits to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. From s’mores supplies to venom extraction kits, they thought of everything to make sure you had the best stay, both at the cabin and out in nature. And sitting in the hot tub after a long day of hiking, watching the stars come out, was the icing on the cake. Would absolutely stay again if we’re in the area and highly recommend to others.
We stayed here with our 3 children with the plan to see Sequioa National Park. The location is on a winding road but the reward is isolation and great views and a place with all the amenities. We loved hiking all day and coming back to a hot tub and grill to enjoy the evening. evening. The evening.

It’s quite & secluded. Well maintained property. It’s located close to Kings Canyon entrance. I would definitely stay here again.
My only concern were the small holes in driveway near door entrance had yellow jackets coming out. A load of gravel would fix the problem.
Like a perfect destination hike, the road to this cabin makes you work for it, but it won't disappoint. Fully stocked, clean, and comfortable, the view was simply outstanding. The bed was soft, so nice after a full day. The owner is sweet, thoughtful, considerate, and prompt and hasn't forgotten anything. She left the perfect amount of personal touches to make it feel like home. I would recommend this place to anyone.
I booked this for my family so we could visit Sequoia. It takes about 45 mins to get to the park. There is a great bar/restaurant close by (Pinehurst Lodge). While on the property we saw a red newt and some frogs. We saw wild turkeys driving to the park. The jacuzzi was very nice. Started out cool but heated up for the next night. It was very clean with tons of extras-lots of snacks, tea, coffee that my kids loved. We had a fire the first 2 nights but couldn’t have one the next night due to snow. Bring wood. We had a really great experience.
This place is special. The view from everywhere is spectacular. The home is well stocked and tidy with modern furnishings. We loved our stay here. Couple things to note, the drive up is on a 1.5 lane road with switch backs. Its a little intense but well worth the effort. Be familiar with what poison oak looks like. Easy to avoid as long as you know what too look for. Additionally, the main road to kings canyon was closed during our stay. Detour added about a half hour to our drive. Property was so lovely we took a break from the drive and spent a day puzzling, enjoying the hot tube, playing games, and wondering at the view.
We wanted a spot that was away from it all and we got just what we wanted. The property has a very well appointed single wide pre-fab home that isn't much to look at on the outside, but looks and feels great on the inside. There is a full kitchen with most every tool you may need, lots of spices and many condiments, large fridge, and a dishwasher. There are 2 smart TV's, books, games, and art supplies for entertainment. There is also a washer and dryer as well as a bunch of nice extra things one might want at a place like this (dog bowl and bed, inflatable mattress, high chair and pack and play, etc.). The only problem I had inside the home was a lack of water pressure in the shower, but it was enough to get the job done.
The home is at the very top of a ridgeline with views to both sides (albeit some power lines somewhat interfere with the view to the east). There are other properties around, but they are sufficiently far away. The outside area is long and narrow, and there is a pretty steep slope to the west that I wouldn't trust really small kids around (mine were ok at 5 and 9). The hot tub and the fire pit were a big hit with the children.
We chose this area to hit up King's Canyon to play in the snow (mid March). This place had an annual pass we could use to get in, and there is a relatively direct (but winding) paved path to the park. We were able to sled and play in the snow just a few miles into the park.
We had a great stay! Absolutely gorgeous this time of year.
The cabin itself is much larger than the pictures give it credit for. Nice secluded location. A little further from the parks than I anticipated but it gave us a nice scenic drive.
